Im pretty surprised, having no insight at all, it looked like a great fit from the outside. Anybody know why? Ive read its maybe just for the summer, and Ive also read rumors that he might be collaborating with Michael Jordan on a nascar team
Maybe Chad is not the easiest guy to work with?
I think it was Daniel Blair that said he was taking more time with his kids racing ,
Michael Jordan taking a Bobby Reagan approach at moto would be so awesome. 23XI Husqvarna would be a nice boost for a bunch of guys. If Chad Reed was involved it would make so much sense. Would be extra awesome if he stole riders from Bobby like he has done to every other team.

Blair talked about it with Matthes. Chad is still staying at the property and focusing on his kids for the time being. He will still have a role as a consultant I believe.

I thought that was always the plan, it was never a full time gig and it slowly grew as the success grew so he agreed to give more time to it.
SX is now over so he loves back to focusing on his family stuff.

Just from all the things I’ve read, followed, watched, my opinion is Chad seems like he would be a tough person to work with. I like guy and respect him, but this is the same story over and over
From the sounds of it this was always the plan, do Supercross and then come late spring and summer focus on his kids riding
Reed wants Tate to be fast more than Tate wants to be fast
What stories would that be?

Him being difficult to work with and him knowing WTF he's talking about don't have to be mutually exclusive.
Maybe he put in some time with the Club team and realized it's more stress than it's worth for him, especially with also trying to prioritize his own kids, and they parted ways with no drama whatsoever?

How much long till the reeds leave club and go some where else. What happens first reed or blair leaves? They both seem to bounce around every few years.

The kid is not that good. He is in over his head huge with kids his age at the big amatuer nats, pretty sure he does not even qualify to go to LL
Not to say he can't (and should??) get a lot better as he develops and matures.
Now that he's getting on the 250, it's now or never tbough..
Chad stated months ago he was only doing the Supercross program.
I sincerely hope this isn’t the case but I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t previously thought this at times. Hopefully he’s all in and it’s not forced.
I don’t think it’s forced, but I definitely get the vibe that Tate is doing it more for Chad than himself.
I think a decent comparison is Deegan; if Brian had stepped away when Haiden was 15-16, I think he’d still be right where he is now. If Chad stepped back right now, I think Tate would probably gravitate towards something else.
Tate is average rider but with all years and effort i dont think he is going to be a top pro rider.
For what i saw watching Reeds family YouTube videos, Pace Reed has the most natural talent on the bike and training could make it but Pace has litle interest in moto...

Finding the answer to that question is going be more complicated than you think. There is TONS of competition lurking here.
This is 100% correct….it was always the plan to help during SX and then work with his kids racing through the summer and LL…it is exactly what was stated when he started with them.
Pretty common corporate speak when someone leaves a role abruptly. Chads not the most collaborative guy either so noone should be really surprised by this.
