I've just finished watching the race...crazy turnaround in points. 1 point now.

How many bad jujus did Hunter face in that last race?

Crap start, then a goggle issue of some sort, the first crash, fuel line disconnected, peak off (peak important in these conditions), then another crash...and mistakes all over the place.

The race gas must have been a good distraction. I mean, that gas must have been like fire on the nut sack and will most likely leave a good rash of some sort.

I'm speculating here. If Hunter does have a rash, then it'll play in Roczen's favor. It will need a few days to settle and may upset his weeks program.

Anyone of ya ever had race gas between the legs? I've had it briefly, it burnt like a MF, but I got myself cleaned up pretty quickly.

Hunter had to endure it for most of that race. It could be bad.

Meanwhile, Ken and his kickstart had a ride of his life.

Both these guys will be a worthy Champion.

Yeah, that was a crazy race! I don't know how hunter endured all that. The podium interview he did not complain about anything. Just said it was a rough race or something like that.....😳 my gawd the Lawrence brothers come from another planet!

Tip of the visor to him he is a class act. But, yes, I also want Kenny to take home the championship. He's been through so much and the underdog Suzuki with no button, that hasn't had a redesign for about 8 years or so just keeps on chugging. I love it! 😎👍

Thank you once again you all. It really is great knowing that there are caring folk out there.

We are hanging in here, just taking one day at a time and I feel like I'm in a better place mentally.

One thing that has helped me is looking after a bunch of stray cats living behind a shopping center a few blocks away. I pack a bag with their food and I take a good walk to the center. I find the walk is refreshing and it's a bit of exercise for me.

Those poor cats are always hungry and I find it satisfying to see the cats sitting, relaxing and grooming themselves after a meal.

I've been collecting timber and used pallets that I want to repurpose. Winter is just starting here and I'm going to be using the timber to build some housing for them cats. I'll sleep better when they have a warm home to sleep in.

Little projects like this has been helping me loads. It takes my mind off all the crap that's going on.

I wish you all a safe and awesome weekend.

Cheers

Dude. Just STFU. Is your family getting assaulted while getting groceries? No? Are you able to provide for your family? Yes?  Once again, just STFU.

I heard something today that made me appreciate the positive things and small wins in our lives. Think about your biggest problem, and then think about other people’s biggest problems, kids getting murdered, people od’ing, homeless families living in the street dumpster diving to feed their kids, how about the innocent people caught in the middle of a war who’s home are now rubble,  this world has a lot of shit going on. If everyone threw their biggest problem in a bucket, would you be willing to throw yours in there, mix em all up and reach in and grab one ? Could be some rich guy who’s biggest problem is his driveway has an oil stain on it, or could be someone (like a 67 year old acquaintance of ours) who just found out she has stage 4 cancer throughout her whole body and has “maybe” a year, if she wants to go through aggressive chemo treatments, less if she wants to ride it out and hope for a few opportunities to be with her loved ones knowing they’ll be the last. Just something to think about. Glad you’re able to find some peace Boom, a little exercise and helping animals has to feel good. Post some pics when you get the cat condo built ! Positive thoughts sent your way.
Hang tough moto brother ! As for Originmx’s post ? Holy shit dude you just gotta laugh, could you imagine being that miserable ? . It’s like negative Nancy ran out of tampons on her heavy flow day lol. Someone get that bitch a Mydol pronto 😂😂😂

I could have been in the USA long time ago had I done it illegally. I've been there many times on a holiday visa. I could have got a job and stayed but I would have to live looking over my shoulder all the time and wondering when I will get caught and deported.

I have no sympathy for people who get locked up and deported because they were living and working in the USA illegally.

Myself and my family have been through hell and back (as well as many other folk here) in the arsehole of Africa and we are still here. Why? It's simple, we have been wanting to immigrate legally. Legally mean loads of red tape and huge financial costs.

Fortunately Mr Trump has offered us white folk here asylum, there is still red tape and a bunch of costs involved but is doable for us now.

When we get there we will not have to fear separation, we will not fear about being locked up and deported.

We will be there Legally!

I need to open up and be honest. The reality is that I'm not really well. The anxiety is a constant companion. I'm not to sure about depression, Most of my free time at home is spent sleeping. When I sleep I have less to worry about.

When I lay in bed I try create a scene, like from that series "Lost". folk marooned on a Island,, you find a good piece of land where you can build a little house to protect from the elements. Yes, it sound nuts. I'm probably nuts., Who knows??

I'm scared of everything. No hope here in SA and I'm also scared of arriving in the USA at 56 years old with f@#kall.....it troubles me deeply.

I have two beautiful daughters, a great wife, four cats and one small dog, they all depend on me and I know without doubt that I have failed them.

Where did I go wrong in life?

Two beautiful daughters and a great wife is far from failing or going wrong in life in my book.

I'm not Dr. Phil man, I wish I knew what to tell you that would help.  What's the process ? Are you in a waiting line ?  How's it work ?  Do job offers help and  shorten the process ? Have you started an official process ? What kind of timeline is there ? Is there a timeline ? Sorry man I'm naive on the subject, how's it work ?

I don't know you personally (obviously) but you seem like a good dude who through a series of circumstances just happened to land in a shit part of the planet where the assholes have gained to control. I know that's oversimplifying it... What about other country's ? The USA isn't the only other island on the planet ?  Have you looked at other options ?  Sorry Bud I know these posts aint easy for ya.

You and the family have higher odds of thriving over here compared to facing extinction over there .

Think about like this ...Plenty of people here face divorce or financial ruin in their 50's and 60's and they keep doing what it takes to survive and so do you.

The way I see it you have  a pretty good network of people you already know from wrenching and a slew of internet peeps who want to see you succeed especially for your kids.

My offer still stands if you care to help me build out my metal building in Tennessee.

Boom can you do these things?

Get sunlight daily. Walk outside. Do some pushups and exercises. Get a runners high? Get addicted to working out.  Spend time with the family.

Walking 5000 steps a day reduces all cause depression massively, 10,000 per day even more.

Sun light helps too. Walking exercising outside will help you.

Get some quality physical activity in. Depression can’t hit a moving target. Your weekends in bed are hurting you. You have to move. Clean and repaint a door frame. Start with a corner of your room and polish it. Something small, something achievable, stack some wins.

You are meant to do. You are meant to move. You are meant to keep doing. Don’t stop.

Do some squats at work, do some pushups, do them before bed, do them when you wake up, just stack small easy wins.

Doesn’t have to be 100 pushups or 100 squats just 5 at a time.

Eventually maybe you do 100 per day without trying maybe 300 a day.

You will feel better. Get good sunlight. Copper for your drink ware if you have any. Get good sleep. And build a routine for your sleep.

Considering what you have been thinking of doing, asking you to do these things is quite small and manageable.

Also consider tweaking your diet to 90+% meat. There are legitimate benefits to it and there is an entire movement around depression and suicide amongst former military being caused not just by ptsd but also by the diet in the military.

Try it for a month. Eggs, meat, water, salt. Rinse and repeat.

I’d really like you to prioritize moving, the diet can come later, but if you start moving you will feel better. Jazzercise in your home if walking your area is dangerous but find a way to consistently start moving. Start dancing with your wife, learn to dance, learn to jump rope like a pro, something.

Thank you bud, I can and will try to do most of your suggestions above. Sunlight is rare for me. It is winter now. I get up at 5am in the dark, shower, get dressed and I'm at work at 6am...still dark. I'm very active at work and I'm sure I put in more than 5000 steps. Work finishes at 17h00 but i only leave for home at 18h30.....any sooner I will screw myself with traffic.

I do do push-ups. 50 in the morning and 50 in the evening (at work) against the work bench. I have a bad right shoulder. Against the work bench I'd guess I'm at 40 degrees.

I also stretch a whole bunch. My middle back always hurts like a MF and I find regular stretching helps.

Yes, I do spend to much time in the bed on weekends. I feel burnt out from a long days at work, I struggle to fall asleep due to stress, my head is always spinning trying to figure out how to make it through the month.

Thank you for your concern and input. I'm for sure not the only one facing daily hardship. There are other folk that have bigger challenges in life. I keep having to remind myself of that fact.

Anyways, it's 20h32 here and I need to get to bed...I have to hit the sack early because its gonna take me forever to fall asleep.

Take care all of you great dudes and thank you everyone for the support. It means the world to me.

Try to find 15 minutes during the work day to get some sun. Preferably around sun rise. Go in, get the building going, and maybe escape outside the shop drink your coffee and let the sun hit your eyes no sun glasses and your  skin for 15 minutes.

It will help you sleep at night also by showing you the day time exists and syncing your body to day and night.

With poor sleep all the struggles compound. Get some sun, do some movements, and get some damn sleep bro.

Everything you’re feeling is normal given the circumstances. Get back to nature, get back to moving, get back to the sun and the grass, get back to your family l, I promise you feel better.

Well noted bud, I'm at the point where I'll do just about anything to try lift myself up to feel better.

I'll keep you all updated.
