If Gajser has any title aspirations left, it has to happen here to relaunch his ambitions. It's "his" track, with a lot of Slovenian fans attending and he won his very first GP here in 2015, after beating Herlings straight up on his semi-factory Honda Gariboldi. He won last year aswell with a 2-1-1, and won 6 times in total at Pietramurata.

If it doesn't work for him here, I'm afraid it won't work at all during the rest of the season on a regular basis.

I agree, this is Gajser’s track to put his world championship aspirations back on track. Febvre should also do well there too. Can anyone beat Coenen though?

Well, if the start is important anywere, it's on this track. Coenen's starts have been so and so this season, or at least not as dominant as the second part of 2025. At Almonte and Riola Sardo you can come back from outside the top 5, but at Trentino... You need to be in there straight away. I think Vialle could be very dangerous next weekend.

You make a very good point, the track is really narrow & one lined in places. Herlings starts have been on point this season, he knows how to get that Honda out of the gate.

I don't know why but I get the feeling that at some point Gajser will just 'click' with the Yamaha and he'll be up at the sharp end where he belongs.

Yes, but as said above, the starts are very  important at Trentino and Tiga has not been upfront in any races so far this season.

Let's hope! The more contenders, the merrier.

Does Carioli have any type of limited program for this year?

I heard he was racing 3 U.S nationals, Southwick, Red Bud(?), and Millville I believe. If he’s doing a couple ama rounds, then maybe some MXGP rounds too?

Go to the race early morning and/or stay late. You will hear your Andrea Bocelli at full volume in between the rocks through the speakers.. one of the sickest things of this GP!

It's Nessun Dorma by Luciano Pavarotti, but indeed, must recommend.

What’s up with Levi Townley, has he got an injury? I had a quick look on his instagram account & nothing has been posted since February.
