Has anyone ever caught, passed and beaten Stewart without James crashing? I remember Roncada gave him fits at a couple races but don't remember if RonRon actually beat him or not.
Yes. Chad Reed did it at A1 2009.. James got out front and CR ran him down and passed him. JS passed him back 5-7 laps later and then they came together while CR was trying to do it again. I didn't read 4 pages of posts so I have no idea if anyone else mentioned A1 09.

Can't seem to find a great video but here's home video footage of it. I think maybe the Stewart camp removed it from You tube..lol Just kidding about that last sentence.

Anything is possible, but I haven't seen any evidence that there is a rider out there that has the speed to catch James, pass him, and beat him, and I'm not talking aboud down the start straight or when James is injured. Like I said, anything is possible, but I haven't seen it happen in SX yet.

P are you in denial? A agree he's the fastest man out there but it happened. Look at the video above and you see CR pass him Straight Up at 3:15 mark of the video..

Ummmmm, that's your evidence.......a race where he crashed and couldn't finish the race???? Oh boy.

Since it's happened I guess you all won't lose your minds if it happens this year.........

rgmx-49........."There are many more races but I'm not going to post that many vids".........

Typical response. Lots of talk and nothing to back it up with.

As for outdoors........we are talking SX and if all you can say is "RC did it" that isn't too bad of a statement. It's basically a compliment.

If James gets at least a top 10 start I think he wins. To me it looked like he was clearly faster than anyone through the turns last week. It would be tough for anyone to pass him and pull away. Not saying it can't happen but I don't think its likely.

Honestly its going to have to take a reeaaalllly good day for anyone to come from behind and beat bubba. I dont see it happening though. Do the math and physics and bubba kills. I dont even understand the physics at all. Like how did he pass Canard where he did without eating shit?

We just have to wait till all five guys start close, then we will watch the fastest man on the planet walk away. Its inevitable, when at A1 he was passing people every lap and almost EVERYONE was doing all the same rythms! Almost nothin separated the "crazy fast guys",from the average top 8...

Or when outdoors. RC owned JS outdoors, no question about it. Not up for discussion.

It was really tough to tell where Bubba was at the line based on looking at the video. I have a 50" plasma with HD and it kind of depended on who he assumed was behind him or would be behind him as he went around that sweeper. In speaking for his ego, it sounds a lot better to him if he said he went from 17th to 3rd. I honestly thought he was legitimately about 14th and went to 3rd (then 11th at the turn), still impressive for anyone. I couldn't really tell from the first corner from the video though. Stewart is still super fast, but the Ryan's and Canard can hang with him - Canard did so for about a lap or so then just backed it down. This was the first race of the year. I don't think anyone rode to the point where they risked crashing (except JS had a bobble on lap 5 where he came up short on a triple). I think all of the top 4 riders have more left in the tank and I hope to see it this weekend in PHX where they all have to hang it out a little further. Hoping it continues to be a great SX season with no major injuries.

Apparently, interpreting evidence is not your strong point. James is awesome, but why is it that yourself and other fans have to discredit other riders to try and make JS look invincible?

It's very strange.

imo, the mega-fans are worse than the haters.

the haters get their jab in and then back out of the ruckus. every now and then a hater keeps on hating, but it's not as often as a mega-fan. an exception to this rule is a guy like morning_stiffy, also weeksfan381 and a few others, they just keep on hating.

the mega-fans, however, just keep at it. they keep degrading every other racer that doesn't share a name with their guy. P is a mega-fan.

Seriously though I hope I haven't offended anyone through all this banter...and yes P the videos proving the points often have a fallen james...because when a guy has the odds of hitting dirt 1 out of every three races it limits your option- If he can ride 8tenths a lap faster for 20 without hitting the dirt it will be tough...but if he is riding over his head to get that 8 tenths every lap he will continue his 1 in 3 stat and the championship will go to someone else(possibley a redhead hehe) and all you guys will continue your comments about how noone can pass him and blah blah blah.

RC 5x champ and MC 7x champ where caught and beaten in several ocations. the Las Vegas race is proof JS inst invisible yet re**** like u and some others still claim that the guy has never been caught before.

When the fuck did I try to "discredit" any other rider??? I'm simply stating what has happened. You guys keep trying to bring up Vegas........really, that's all you have??? That race was more about riding safe to secure the championship at that last round than it was about winning the race.

If someone catches him from behind and beats him this year in SX then fine, it happens, but up until now no one currently racing has shown that they can do that. That's just the facts.

So, now it's not enough to win against James "straight up" without a crash, someone has to come from behind and beat him. LOL

Of course, I must be a "hater" right? Wrong.

James has been beat, and will be beat again. Just like all the greats of the sport.

You just lost. You should hold off on posting for about a week for getting caught on that one.
