Best outdoor season ever.
All the motos are on YouTube if anyone wants to rewatch.
Also, I think Jett would’ve had his hands full with 2022 Tomac and Sexton. I don’t think they’ve been near that level since. Jett, Yes. Everyone else, no.
Sexton said he felt he was going faster in 2023.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Completely agree, so lucky to be around for this season, Cairoli coming over and Josh Gilbert riding surprisingly well were the cinnamon on top
Ya I don’t believe it though. They both look borderline out of control in 2022
Don't forget DeCoster roasting Cairoli and Dungey on live tv, that was one for the ages.

Dunno why DeCoster was shitting on those 2 tho lol
Yeah that was totally unnecessary and undeserved.
Agreed... 2022 450 between et3 and chase was peak mx... they actually raced each other... no bullchit take outs, just pure sending it.. and that allowed them both to get even faster...
Ya, he popped on screen while I was downing my 13th beer and I got so offended on behalf of those legends I roasted him back, that season truly had something for everyone and lots of it
Also one thing that always comes to my mind, while it was already one of the best seasons ever.. imagine if Ferrandis didn't injure his thumb (I think ligament?) just a couple days before Pala. Those three way battles could have been nuts. We have never really got 2021 Ferrandis back after that
Atta boy, give Ole Rog a big zinger
Because he’s a dick??
its so annoying that peacock didnt purchase the rights to the old series and have them available for stream. what youtube channel has the full 22 season Ive been wanting to re watch it?
Pro motocross channel
To not believe what would be a nice excuse is pretty funny. “I got beat every single moto because I wasn’t as fast as the year before” is way better than admitting “I was faster and literally never beat the rookie”
Yaa I’ve heard quite a few stories of Roger giving the ol cold shoulder, those two are all time greats tho, he shouldn’t have shit on them.
To be fair though, Sexton always looked borderline out of control when he was behind Jett in 2023 aswell. He barely crashed in 2022. But he crashed a lot in 2023 whenever he was on Jetts rear wheel.
Rewatch Pala 2023, Washougal, Budds, or Ironman for example. They put a minute on third in some motos just like Eli and Chase did in 2022. But Jett looked like he was cruising, while Chase was riding his ass off. And Chase said it himself in an interview "I feel like I'm going even faster than last year". I don't think he would just say it if he didn't mean it.
We just get blinded by how Tomac and Chase ride when they're on it compared to Jett. Jett can be 3 seconds a lap faster than anyone and he looks like he's not even on a heater.
While I don't think Jett would have gone perfect with Eli on the gate and Chase not hitting his head in the beginning of the season.. reality is they battle for 2nd in the championship.
One major downside of being a fan of this sport is that due to injuries, you rarely see the same contenders on the starting line for multiple years in a row outdoors, I hate it.
You definitely could be right. Maybe that’s why 2022 is so much more fun to watch. You can actually tell how hard those two are pushing and it looks incredible. Much more enjoyable to watch than a guy that looks like he’s on an afternoon stroll
