Just brings put the question from a few weeks ago on how to minimize issues with rappers. This has potential to have big impacts on points.
i mean, all he had to do was get out of the main line, just as Hunter and Eli said after indy,
Why didn’t hunter respect the blue flag or pull off?

Well, according to dozens of people last week....The 96 should have been parked once he was 7% slower than field or whatever lol.
Imagine the crocodile tears from the Honda faithful.
This is why you dont make huge changes to the sport based on the "feelings" of some people. All the ideas and solutions that were discussed last week dilute the racing. Nascar has fallen victim to this mentality...they constantly fiddle with the rules to manipulate the racing.
Just run the fucking race.
Oh ya I forgot already about all the Vital people who were so mad about lappers saying the rules you just mentioned 😂
"He shoulda been black flagged !!!" LOL
Also, Tomac would not have even been in the main in Birmingham if "We should only take the top 16 to the main !!!" 😆
Farres lost the lead in moto 1 in Switzerland to a lapped, it's a worldwide problem.
He didn't really take him out...he fell on top of him...
Looks like many got the point, everyone. Was quick on potential rule changes. And falling on top of Craig literally made Christian fall down. Just trying to get folks to think.
If anything Hunter took Craig out. That sucked for Hunter.
While I am not on board with having riders pull off after a certain drop in speed. It may have helped Hunter in this case. He may have ended up finishing better if they had been yanking riders and yanked him and gave him the points for the spot he was in when yanked off.
I think that they should get strict with lappers and not allow passing by lappers when they are getting lapped. If You are a lap down, no passing under the blue flags. Pull out of the main line and hold that line until the lead riders pass You and You stop seeing the blue flags.
I've been saying they should put a LED on the bars or front fender , someplace to let riders know what's going on for years now. I even had people on here message me that were working on system like that. I've seen systems for cars that could be adapted . A flexible LED strip on top of the bar pad cover or front fender that had 5 leds that could show a rough location of the issue when coming up to a downed rider. And flash blue faster until the rider is right on them and then go solid. At some point make it also light up on the side the rider is going to be passed on for lapped riders so they know its not somebody else that is a lap down like they are. But even if they just had green, yellow, red, white and blue colors and couldn't flash them . But they could trigger the lapper lights when the lead riders were a certain distance. Have a steady green for all good , red for stopping the race, flashing red for a red cross flag area.
Or maybe just leave it as is and consider the lappers a part of the racing situation and dealing with them is just a part of racing like dealing with a track that gets rougher as the race runs.
