I hope you’re wrong, but things just aren’t adding up the way I see it as well for this being short lived. I don’t believe there will be a regime change without boots on the ground. Without a regime change the US will either be back in 5 years or so or Iran will have a nuke. What a mess this is.

We have taken sanctions off both Russian and Iranian oil. So now there getting top dollar for there oil, so now we are literally helping both Iran and Russia. It’s just incompetence on top of incompetence.
All these things don’t give businesses any kind of stability, that doesn’t help the economy.

While I don’t think that it’s the only reason, and most probably not the main reason, I do believe that taking the focus off the Epstein issue was a big part of reaching the tipping point towards the latest US actions against Iran.
If, as has been widely claimed, Epstein was even remotely connected with Mossad, then Israel would have every motivation to go along with the backstory of Iran being figurative minutes from nuclear capability. It advances Israel’s long term goals while helping the current US administration try to distract the public from something that they desperately want to keep buried.
