Yes. Wonder if he forgot to buckle it.

I know DeWolf has dealt with an injury, but 15th? Yikes

Thumb injury, required surgery and he returned already much faster than originally forseen.

Did amazingly well, in my book.

Ohh. That is a very sensitive place to injure and require surgery.

It’s strange to me how Coenen has finished 4th, 6th, 1st and 1st in the fist 4 motos of the year while Herlings has finished 1st, 1st, 2nd and 2nd yet Coenen holds an 8 point lead in the championship.  I can’t recall, but do you really get that many points for qualifiers?

10 points for a qualifying race win.

9 pts. for 2nd

8 pts for 3rd.

...

1 point for 10th.

I’d rather see Herlings back it down for a 5th instead of getting injured. This season will be good.

Does Farres age out of MX2 this year? If so, Triumph should bring him back over to the states!!

Well that's bloody Fantastic - McLellans 1st GP win  is Triumphs 1st modern era GP win!

And, he did it by passing Little Coenen.

Wonderful stuff!

I was thinking about this last night. He definitely got more consistent since returning to Europe. In the USA he had his freak injury at Thunder Valley with the startcrash, Star didn't have a spot for him after that injury. With Husky he broke his leg with a freak bike incident, which is why he went to Europe. If Triumph wants to make great steps in the MXGP class, it would be smart to keep him and McLellan in Europe. He is from 31-3-2003

Not as good as other aluminum frame bikes, and second, Coenen is same good as Herlings in the sand, and may be became faster ,remember gp from 25,when Jeffrey had hard time to save p1 and win gp. Obviously Lucas have been faster all weekend

Herlings was coming off an injury.

Lucas was coming from last place, lol😀

I can see them putting him on the 450 alongside Haarup next year. With his size, he'll be starting at the front easily on the 450. But if he wants to try supercross again then I'm sure that Triumph would accommodate him.

With him aging out, I'd be going after Francisco Garcia for next season if I was Triumph.

About the Coenen-Herlings thing going on here: Coenen was faster last weekend, period. Herlings admitted it himself in the post-race interview. In both races he was about 2-3 seconds behind Coenen when he got to second place, but Coenen just gapped him, simple as that. No need for further analysis and no shame in Herlings' case.

Just enjoy these two dogs fighting it out please. It could very well be Herlings gapping Coenen next weekend.

Completely agree. Let's just hope they (and everyone else) stays healthy and we have two memorable title battles this year...

Strange one that, he seemed to just pull it off, no unbuckling, button pressing or anything. You would think helmet straps would be checked before entering the start line.

Yaa, I never thought he had a fair shot when he was over here in the states with those injuries. He was a top 10 guy right away outdoors over here. I was thinking with Triumph wanting to put Harrup on the 450 in MXGP next year and with Farres having some SX experience, that maybe they can swap them. My grandmother was from Madrid, so I pay extra attention to the spainish boys hahaha

Well, Garcia definitely did it! - And, wearing his Countries colours!

The crowd went Berko!

And, what a Crowd!

His teammate - OZ Jake Cannon ripped - 2: 5, I hope he finally gets as much attention as  his Sis, Charli - he's been a bit overshadowed for a few years.

Now there's a Team that will be Celebrating.🥳

And, Kubulis, on that slightly updated 2005 Yamaha (21 years, folks - it's amazing - and, he Holeshot , too) , got 4th Overall. Cripes it's good to hear a mix of sounds out there, and to have a high end class that has sensible rules! I think there were a couple of 2ts out there.

Jake has great bike fitness. He really gets going at the halfway point.

Yes. Wonder if he forgot to buckle it.

Ahh don't know about that. He took it off instantly with no hesitation like that's how he has it.

Does Valin want to come to the US? He’s young, I wonder if Mitch Payton tries to bring him over at some point.

He posted that he injured his ankle in practice was happy to salvage some points or something along those lines.  But yeah i thought the same, expecting him to contend for wins & the championship

Plus Herlings hasn’t scored in the qualifying races yet.
