I was going to say after watching Daytona, seeing Hunta unseccussfully trying to pass Kenny lap after lap, then Tomac made the pass first time. Tomac KTM is a horsepower machine. Same with the Yamaha.
Honda was on it, put in 5 days testing to get Hunta use to the hp boost the Honda needs to keep with other factory bikes.
Tomac is toast now. Next race we'll see Webb quit as will Kenny. Hunta champion by 75 points. He could win all remaining rounds. 😋

That said, Hunter is very hard not to cheer for. Professional, humble, clean racer, puts in the work. I’m glad he’s getting his well deserved time in the spotlight. I’d love to see Tomac go out on top but I wouldn’t lose sleep if Hunter took this one home.

Agree, Tomac is far from done and he will fight as long as he can. That said, he is really up against it as HJ steps up. We all know what happens when Jett comes back tho.

With how well Hunter has been riding this year it's made me wonder what he could've done last year had he not gotten hurt.
He wasn't remarkable in the races he did race but he does seem to be getting better as each race goes on this season and it does make me wonder if he followed that same trend last year without the crash how good he could've gotten.

Hunter could very well win this thing through consistency... but he ain't gonna do it by winning out. He's starting to get that winner's confidence, though, and it will serve him well.
