I should have also said that its for the pits and off bike stuff. I just saw the post now and was about to post a link and saw that somebody already did. The jacket comes folded up in a relatively small square bag   that fits in the pockets of the back of the seats in a truck or SUV , and is easy to store until You open it up. After that its hard to fold back up as small as it comes.

The people at Thor and Parts Unlimited ( The owner and distributor of Thor) Are legit moto people. Everybody I've talked with rides MX and many also ride MTB's. And they are all very passionate about the brand and the sport. I was surprised  at the contrast between them and my local reps of one of the other big distributors. It may just be something personal with the local rep of that other place. I have not talked to them for a few years now so they may not be the same person still. But I was really surprised .  That Rep turned me off to the company enough that I have stayed away since then.

I'm not sure how the newest womens gear fits, the previous line up seemed to also be on the smaller scale of sizing when it was the old Pulse name.  Perhaps JJ376 can chime in and tell us if those same sizing changes were made to the women's line when they changed from Pulse to Launchmode. Most customers wore a size or 2 bigger with the old Pulse line for the men's gear. If possible try some of the line on that You are looking at buying so You can see how it fits You. The gear ended up fitting , but I had some women surprised at the size that fit them.

I worked at a dealership and the Parts Unlimited reps always gave me this vibe more than other distributors too. I’d see them at the shop and talk moto, then see them at the track and ride with them too

I personally didn’t want to drop the 40” Sportmode pants, because I have a couple friends that run them. Unfortunately, the numbers didn’t lie - it took nine months to sell six pairs last season, so we decided to drop.

Does it ever feel prohibitive designing gear that’s produced by a third party vendor? I’ve always wondered what the process is like. Do you get a blank template from the vendor and add design elements to it? Do you have total creative freedom over seem placement, measurements, materials, etc? Would it be better to have the ability to produce in-house, or not necessary?

Great questions all around - all of our design work, whether the chassis themselves (including seam lines and material composition) or the graphics that go on them, is done in house at THOR. We work hand in hand with our vendors (whom we’ve partnered with for decades) to bring these products to market. There’s no guesswork, per se, even though mistakes can and do happen along the process. Being able to produce everything in house is the dream, but doing that all in one country (here in the U.S., for example) is not without significant limitations. Being global is still the best way for our business…although we have already migrated all that we could at this time to on-continent here in the Americas.

Thor had some of the coolest rider kits. Always associated Thor as “factory”  as far as gear goes when a kid haha

wish we seen more era drops from companies. Thor had some heat in the 2000’s

Underrated style

For anyone interested I am doing a limited release pre order for the next week ( well little less now ) on some new gear sets.

These are just AI mokcups I did, the real mockups are on the website, also have my other kits available that I have all the time.

$199 a set includes - pants, jersey and gloves with name and number sublimated into it, usually takes 4-6 weeks to come in.

I just cannot believe how far off Fox have sunk, the 2026 release is just not up to par in my opinion.

Too many lines, not enough colorways

I saw some stuff I liked.  They  have Flexair, 360 and 180. The other names are just the design names as far as I can see after a quick look.

But I see some of it that looks like the cheap knock off stuff I saw back in the 2000's.  I personally see more that I like from the 2026 than the 2025.

Some of the colorways just look like they are inspired by things that are not what I think of when I think moto. I prefered the style that of designs they had whel Pete Fox was still there.  Back then Fox always looked like Fox.

@JJ376  I’ve seen a different mesh on some of the Thor jerseys this summer in the nationals, do you know if this is going to be available to the general public at some point?IMG 2722

Those are custom made sublimated jerseys so no, they won't be available to the pubic.

Never say never 😜

We are in development on some new mesh options as we speak, but currently only the Launchmode Air mesh available to the public...and Spooner.

Any chance that Thor will ever offer A Custom Sublimated option for Jersey's like Shot race gear and some others offer?

With Shot the end user can order directly or buy from a dealer. They can buy the pants and jersey from the dealer. They either got a code and could order the shirt themselves and pick the logos and colors as well as the fit  or have the dealer deal with it. The shirt got made and shipped to them after.  Shot  wasn't doing it in the US last I spoke with them.  They had told me they were working on it for the US but were unsure  of a timeframe or any details.

Shot allows a customer to pick the colors for the entire shirt, and add logos .  Even just sublimated name/number option would be cool.I could see how it may be tricky to do the logos. Shot allows customers to upload their own logos and has a lot of the industry logos.

I have a smaller sublimation printer and I've been Sublimating names/numbers/logos onto the already made Jerseys that are white or very light colors. It worked out amazing on the vented jersey's when the backs were all or mostly white. Customers Loved it.   After they rode in a vented jersey that was sublimated instead of a transfer, They wanted all their shirts like that, problem is that it only works on white or the very light colors so not many of the Jerseys  work.

We actually have a pilot program going now for our amateur support team, with intent to bring it to the public in the near future. It's tricky for THOR, as we are the last gear brand to not be consumer-direct, only sold through Parts Unlimited / Parts Canada / Parts Europe authorized dealers.

I'm sure there are ways to do it and keep selling the way You do , not selling direct to the consumer.  I like that the only way to buy Thor is from a dealer and that You guys are not competing with dealers for the same customers.

The way that FXR seems to offer everybody that races or tells them they race, a big discount that puts them close to dealer cost is a reason I am not a fan of them.  Fly is also gerus with the sponsorships , but not so over the top like FXR was the last time I heard.

Excited about that new mesh! Grew out of my last mesh kit 😂. Keep me in mind if you guys are on the market for a slightly overweight vet C rider haha. Appreciate the info

Some of that gear is fantastic.

Im not a huge fan of the TLD gear, while it looks awesome I just cant get along with the low rise style pants they have they end up sliding down too much.

I have two SE5 helmets and they are amazing helmets the best ive owned and the rock fight chest protector is great too.

I agree- the low-rise stuff is unwearable. That's not their only fit, though; it seems like they are using that on the "SE Ultra" line only. The SE Pro and GP lines are "race" or "ride" fit.

It also looks like my link got nuked. Wasn't ready for prime time yet?
