Cade Clason on X rightly pissed that HL's dogs get airtime in front of riders.
If we want to see his dogs ( which nobody does) we will follow his Insta.
Bad enough to see it in RDL , let alone again on the broadcast. Dread to think how much that cost.

You know, I knew Hunter had too much ground too make up, but I also felt like "He's really going to push this last lap and hope for the best." Sure enough, drops his best time. Cameras could have been on Hunter and Eli that entire lap.

I thought the segment was funny. We get to have a 3-4 hour live broadcast of the race. I remember when the races weren’t broadcasted until the following day. For one hour.

People complain when athletes are too vanilla. I guess people will also complain when we get to see their personalities and a 1 minute glimpse into their life. It was an odd clip, but mildly entertaining and not something I ever thought would 'upset' anybody.
There are plenty of animals considered to be smarter than dogs, believe it or not. Dogs are exceptional when it comes to the training aspect though.

I would rather see riders who are struggling from round to round get a little bit of air time , there is no shortage of those, or any of the other smaller teams , or maybe a bit of time for the foreign guys, there are 3 Germans doing West, and they get barely a mention.
The father and son deal , Bobby and McKayden Fitch was a great opportunity, and while they did give them props, it would have been good , assuming they had realised , but i also know that this type of B roll stuff needs to be all edited up and ready to go, so you arent doing it on the day , realistically.
That said, the bit with the start guy and his wife, that was cool , because it is relevant, the sport runs off the back of that .

I had no interest until I saw he had a Doberman so its all cool now and Hunters all right in my book.
His quote about wanting a Cane and his wife wanting a Doberman, having a discussion about it, compromising, and getting a Doberman was relate able and pretty funny.
It’s hard for us to remember sometimes that “WE” fans that ride MX and “live a MX lifestyle” aren’t the only ones watching the broadcast. We’re going to watch no matter what. They are charterer building to bring attention to the sport and gain viewers. 90% of the people watching the broadcast aren’t looking at Hunters toe position as he enters the whoops, or looking at Cole Davies head position while attacking a rhythm section. They’re interested in riders because they like dogs and have hot wives.
The broadcast isn’t for you and me, it’s for the general public. Watch the race and ignore the rest.
