All I've heard so far is, "Someone's hurt," which is typically a prank that gets run every year before SX starts. There's nothing to work on, other than, "I heard it from a well-connected industry guy," and, "What, you don't believe me?" Rather than run around in circles, I've got plenty of other things I can be working on than chasing my tail.
Even if I knew who it was, is it supposed to go like this...
"Hey, I heard you were hurt."
"Nah, I'm okay."
"Liar!"
This is a sport that even on your best day ever, and you don't do anything wrong, you can still get slapped around on the bike. If it's a pre-season injury that doesn't cause the (to this point) fictional rider to miss any action, I'd guess it'll show up on the track and in the results at an actual race. If he is actually hurt badly enough that it causes him to miss some action, we'll know soon enough.
I don't hear a thing, except the same type prank that gets run every year before A1.

Yes there is another rider hurt. The team wants to see how bad it is before they let out a pressy, if they do in fact let it out and asked for silence, again.
If they dont let it out I will say what happened after the year gets going.

damn fools on here want good stuff then they, along with the mods bust yer balls...what the living fook is that all about?
It's not football where certain legitimate tactics can be employed to exploit an injured player, or that opposition team rosters might be altered to better suit the strengths/weaknesses of likely substitutes.
In SX or MX, what are your competition going to do if they do find out you are injured? Train harder? At best there might be some minor psychological advantage, but really if riders are worried about what others might be thinking rather than what they can control themselves then they're a bit lost.
Or have I totally misread what could happen, and are fellow competitors likely to knowingly or deliberately engage in bar banging or downright dirty tactics if they know another rider is try to nurse an injury?
BTW I'm not advocating pure rumour-mongering if there is no substance.
