Still have mine, was my first new 4 stroke mx bike. Keep it as a third bike. Has been a 290 for most of it's life.
I had the 08, which was very similar. They were really good.
Loved my 2009, the last of that '07-09 lineage before EFI was added. Great bike, handled well, made good power, reliable too.

I had an ‘07 back when I was a teenager. Was a practice bike for the Rockstar/Yoshimura/WBR Suzuki team before I got it. Thing was a rocket ship compared to the clapped ‘02 YZ125 I came from, I was not ready for that bike at the time lol. Had to sell it to help finance my first car when I turned 16, looking back I should’ve kept the bike 😭
