He'll be back, but not soon. Artie needs help, Howard will send him away for a while.

I haven't listened in awhile. For some reason, I liked the pre-Sirius Howard better. What happened to Artie? I will say that when he was on Kimmel or Conan a couple weeks ago, he looked like walking death. Fatter & crappier than ever...//TJ

He idolizes Belushi I think deep down thats what he wants is to go out like John did. Its sad he really is a pretty good comic, but most of the great comics are/were depressed or sad in some way.

Artie looks just like Belushi. Kinda weirds me out how similar they are.

I think he is done with the show. He so does not like the hours and now, the show has made him richer then ever so, I think he is done.

Not to mention, he said he does not know i he can stay there and promiss that he wont hurt somebody with his anger issues and I dont think Sirius will take that chance. Unles he can say it was all for the air, which him crying when he huged Howard did not seem fake, he wont get his job back, just like A.J.

Guess we will see tomorrow.

Dude I think the bigger question is "Will Artie spiral into death?" the guy has been in a spiral since they filmed "Beer League" and he shen back to heroin.

guess he survived his trip to Amsterdam.
i think he's back on H.
Howard should fire him and distance himself.
Artie's got money, time to get some help.

Yup, he is back on the show and everyone acted like life was good.

So they have around about 3 years left, anyone want to bet on the over/under when he will explode again!!?

Im glad hes back. But its just that spot on the show, same thing basically with the jokeman, he was always leaving and coming right back. Then after he left for good he realized he was nowhere without howard. Im sure Artie realized that too. His career really took off once he started on that radio show.
I love Howard Stern Smile I miss my sirius radio. Arent xm and sirius merging soon?

I like the show better when he's there anyway.
He does need some help with his addictive/fat ass health issues though.

Artie had a movie career, etc before Howard.

XM merger? ".... the long-pending merger of XM and Sirius -- approved by the Department of Justice but still awaiting a decision from the FCC....."

Stern is so full of it. Although he's great entertainment, but the guy always acts as a catalyst, then he gives the, "Who? Me?" crap.

Yeah, he did. But not THAT GREAT of one. I mean, he had that great role of the cherry pie robbers or something lame like that on Mystery Men. And there was MadTV, but he screwed that one up himself. OH, Dirty work won an oscar right?

I kid, I kid,

But since being on Howard Stern he has been getting TONS of guest appearances on Entourage and Rescue Me and other bigger name movies(Beer league) which he never would have done without The Howard Stern show.

I love Artie. I dont think the Howard Stern show would be the same if he was gone.

And I know the merger is going to take 10 yrs. But I dont want to pay for the conversion in my car, since its xm, so im very wishful about the merger.

spend $100 and get a sirius portable car player. No conversion necessary.
I have the sportster model and love it.

i kinda dig Artie...... but i dig Howard more...... the more Artie talks, the less Howard does... idk...... the whole show has been timid and "nice" since the move to Sirius....

so ya...... when Artie was back on this morning.... i don't know.... i wasn't stoked... as to me, it's just a matter of time till he falls asleep again, or get pissed off and trys to get himself booted.... and Howard has just been so "nice" to Artie during all this..... I don't listen or pay 15 bucks a month to listen to "nice" Howard..... i listen to hear Howard verbally molest people....

Get one off of ebay and make sure its the older model. The new models signal isn't as strong, and you spend all day changing the channel. Sirius sent me a new one and it was shit, so I bought an older one off of ebay and works just as good as my old one.
My bad on the old one, I left it on and in the window, so the lights went out and I couldn't see what channel I was on.

I'd pay extra to Sirius if they'd get rid of Robin. Siriusly.
