This was a small step down from what he did with Jo in Vegas. Slowed up, head was on a spindle constantly looking back, let Levi pass, and tried to knock him down multiple times. Only difference was he didn’t make hard contact with Levi like he did with Jo. It was whatever to me, just normal behavior for Haiden. But to address OP’s post title: I’m confused why anyone would watch this race and change their opinion on Haiden from critical to positive.

Crazy how people can watch the same race and draw completely differing opinions…. I thought I saw HD check up and let Levi by hoping to latch on and learn his lines, as Levi was clearly going faster at that point of the race. Once he caught the tow he started looking to make the pass and a great battle ensued between the two with HD coming out on top at the Chequers. Smart racing I’d say.

I can't even begin to imagine how loud the cheers were during the battle and for Levi. It sounded loud on tv, can't imagine how loud it actually was.
I agree with everything that was said in both of these comments. He will get some hate no matter what, everyone will always get some amount of hate. This was one of the best 250 races i’ve seen in a while, and best race this year so far I think.

The race was good but he was verging on doing shit I don't like.. Just race forward and I'm happy! But I was hoping Levi was gonna win but ah well.
Did laugh though when he tried to do some dumb hand movement shit at the end and Levi stopped him and made him fist bump haha like 'stop that, that's dumb.. Good race though'..
