Frontier just raised my bill to $130/mo for internet.

T mobile is $50/mo guaranteed for 5 years. I don't need blazing speed but I don't want my streaming channels to buffer either. I have 15 days to try it.

Will report back if anyone is interested.

Mint mobile is $40 per month if paid up front for full year. But they have a 3 month trial plan. $40 month

At least you have options, in many areas of the country (including here) it seems like you only have one option for ISPs

We have the $50 a month T Mobile mobile internet for the RV

Got 1.2gbps here for $65/mo with Comcast. Good for 2 year contract. When the 2 year contract is up and they raise it to $150/mo I call and cancel. No price negotiations or promises to lower my bill. I just cancel. Then my wife signs up and we’re back to $65/mo for 2 years. After 6 months you fall off their list as an “existing customer” and are then eligible for “new customer” promo pricing. Buy your own modem/router so you don’t have to send anything back or wait on them to send you new equipment. Takes about 30min every 2 years for one of us to cancel and the other sign up and be back up and running. We’ve had the new customer introductory rate for 16 years now.

So far so good on the T mobile. Getting my shit together to cancel Frontier. You have to call customer service to cancel. What I hear is they fight you tooth and nail, They stall, keep you on hold, transfer you, try to make offers, anything they can do to to try to fight you off. Should be a fun call.

Tell them you’re moving. They’ll want your new address to see if they service that area and if so they’ll suggest just transferring your account to the new address. So right off the bat, you give them this line “Unfortunately I need to cancel my service. I’m moving and the new place I’m moving into includes internet in their rent, so I’ll no longer need your services.” then just play it from there, but that usually gets it done. I’ve done this multiple times. lol

I've been using it for a few years now. Drops every once in a while but overall can't beat it for the price! Spectrum is my only other option and they'll just bone you year after year.

I live out in the country and pay a local guy $70/month to get internet from his tower at the nearest large hill. I'm happy. Although last month a windstorm brought it down and I didnt have internet for 4 days.

just did an Ooklo speed test. 40Mbps download, 23 upload while running my trading platform and listening to Theo interview Kevin James on Youtube.

Good luck with the cancelation Borg.

Cancelled today. No problems.

With Frontier I had 500mb download and 500mb upload. With T Mobile the upload is like 10mb max. I'm uploading my first youtube vid since the change. Holy shit it's slow. No biggie though. I upload maybe once every few weeks. Next time I'll wait till bed time and click it.  There isn't 300,000 subscribers waiting on the edge of their seat for my newest installment.
