Has anyone ever attended? Would it be worth the hassle to travel across the pond for such an event? (I am in the States) My parents have been hounding the wife and I to go on a vacation with them as they are getting older and have some health issues here and there. I have never been to the UK, my parents have gone over a few times. My father and I are big motorsports fans and I have always watched the highlights of the FoS and it looks awesome.
I have heard many people complain of the crowds, pricing, etc. I feel like it has to be cooler than a boring old vacation to Jamaica right? Sitting on a beach drinking beer is not really my cup of tea.
Would you recommend a hotel or an air bnb style booking? I am also into cue sports, i.e. pool so I would definitely be looking to go to a snooker hall and try my luck on a 12 footer.
Even if the prices and crowd are more than you expect, this will more than likely be a once in a lifetime adventure for you and the family, so spend the money and enjoy.
I'd go if I was able. Though the Revival is more to my liking. Regardless, go and tell how awesome it is. Because it will be.
My buddy and I are going this year, I can report back. But... fuck yeah do it!
Take in the weekend before for some twinshock motocross King of the castle 4th-5th July 2026, not too far away.

You only live once, and you'll kick yourself for not going. I had a chance to work on this FoS Legend as a summer intern in 2000...
I’ve been a fair few times. That and the revival. Personally I’d say if you are going to England for a trip, it’s well worth going to the FoS but it’s hard to say it’s worth making the trip purely for it.
There is a lot to do in England and Goodwood is not far from London and London is truly a great city so do a London trip and time it for Goodwood and you’ll be happy you did
Cities and touristy things do absolutely nothing for me haha. Hell, I would go watch a local MX practice for a day instead of walking around a city.
My parents have been across the pond a few times, I am hoping they can help a bit with the details. Thanks for the tips.
Only issue there would be the 4th of July is an absolute shot show for travel in the States. Flying sucks the way it is, I couldn't imagine the shit fest it turns into on a holiday.
goodwood is on my bucketlist, it would be an epic weekend,
What’s July 4th?🤔😉
Leave the week before👍
