If you bought a good amount 10 years ago you’re sitting on a great profit now! You did great holding up to that point! For risk management purposes I would take partial take profit on my position, especially 100 is also a psychological number.

If it keeps rising next areas to look for are 120 and 131. You know that if many people are shorting some big guys will push the price up to liquidate their positions then you have a short squeeze happening, the price spikes up.

Thank you for the information. What are your thoughts on premium silver , coins and the collectibility factor? Does that even factor in to any of this as far as what you could get Versus Bars and rounds purely melt value.

Gonna be a SHF moment come Feb 1 when all of these banks’ shorts are called.  I understand JP Morgan Chase is looking at a $377Billion problem…

You'll know the motives for buying gold right now, which is the claim that the dollar is going to be replaced or is dying or whatever, is a real concern,...is when A] big money crashes markets by getting out of stocks and out of cash and into high value tangible assets, yes like gold, but mostly real estate, and B] when people aren't buying paper gold, which is a catch 22 because paper gold volume is really what moves the price of gold, so stackers are in the vast minority. So far, this new reddit/wsb hype trend with gold looks like it's being treated as another gme/btc type of pop-culture asset with endless pumps and dumps.

I mentioned 120 could be an area to watch for where there would be some take profit but I didn’t think this aggressive!

Now that metals are traded on quite a few crypto exchanges it will be traded with more leverage. We might see squeezes like that more often to liquidate positions left and right.

Let’s see when/if we go back to 87.4 and see the reaction.

It’s not over.  Prices still up in other countries.  US banks are taking a beating because of their short positions but you probably aren’t going to hear about it on the 6pm news.  Great day to buy the dip.

Yep.  The big balks sold off a bunch of paper to drive the price here down so they could bail out of their short positions at an acceptable to them price.  Now we go back up!  Meanwhile, prices all over the rest of the world stayed up over the weekend.  Imagine that.  Banksters were up to the same ‘ol’ same ‘ol.

The guy that ran the liquor dept at my local grocery store had all silver dimes directed to him over 30 years. There is a 10% smelting fee but after that its all Gold ! ( I mean Silver &nbspWink !

He maybe has about $50,000

But it didn't cost him anything

Where do you go to have gold & silver smelted & certified? Like if you had enough old jewelry that might be only 18K?

I took mine to a Gold and Coin shop that happens to be in town .

Ends up its the most reputable within a 50 mile radius.

All the Employyes are strapping Iron 😆

They use what looks like an inferior red pistol thermometer to check the % of gold you have.

My wife just took a bunch of Silverware in to a jewelry Shop she has used for over a decade for appraisals.

They use a chemical test

She walked out with $1,000.

Good Luck

Anyone here know about if you melt gold the the different additives float? So you get pure gold at the bottom?

alright all you gold traders. I read Russia has signaled they might go away from the BRICS. If that happens, BRICS is dead. Does the price of gold drop faster than a lead balloon? I'm very ignorant to all this.

The price of silver has been stuck in the high 70’s to mid 80’s. Still very awesome but I was hoping for 150 by this time…… 😢
