Seth Quintero continues his rise with a third career stage win in Ultimate, claiming victory today in the spectacular setting of AlUla.

With his new co-driver Andrew Short, the young American now sits just 7 seconds behind Nasser Al-Attiyah in the overall standings.

You gotta have balls to be a navigator too. I don't know if I could hold in the barf trying to read maps while someone else drives me flat out through the desert.

I can relate…

Andrew made the Stage 3 recap, albeit just for a moment.  Nav duties can be brutal, and system knowledge is a must.

I was wondering where he was. We have been racing the Texas Winter Series and saw his son racing a Husky 125 in Schoolboy and 125 12-17 with his mom as his mechanic.  Thats awesome Shorty!

Awesome to see this, couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

He’s added a lot to his legacy since he retired. He takes the experience and courage that moto requires and applies it to other disciplines in a very efficient way. Much luck to him !

Just a side note on Short,

When I was around 15 years old I reached out to him on twitter (when it was still a new thing) & asked if he would give his 2,000th follower a signed set of gear.
He personally responded in the direct messages and shipped it to my house. He’s always been a man of the people and a great competitor.
