I think he was KTFO, and sometimes your body twitches and tweeks as all the circuits are trying to refire. This is just my opinion, and I'm not a medical expert.

I'm glad they are saying he has feeling, but I'm slightly worried about how his brain is doing.

I’ve unfortunately taken a few hits to the head. Those were not convulsions. That was pretty much what you described. His body was probably in complete shock from the impact alone. His nervous system was on overdrive so even trying to coordinate limb movement was gonna take a few seconds.

The fact that we see his arms and legs moving is a good sign. I think it’s safe to say that was Barcia’s last concussion.

Praying for Justin, dude is a racers racer and so hard to see this happen. These bent track designs need to be kicked to the curb. It’s high time they put major effort into the tracks and slow them dow

If one guy can’t triple in front of a pack of guys that are does it matter how fast they’re going ? As long as there big jumps, sooner or later guys are going to land on each other. And we know big jumps aren’t going away.

The jump at an angle makes it blind. Hence Webb looking back over the triple the first time they took off. Riders can’t tell where everyone is. They can separate the racers with track design to help prevent this.

Update from MXA:

JUSTIN BARCIA INJURY UPDATE: 2026 ANAHEIM 1 SUPERCROSS

Things were crazy at the 2026 Anaheim 1 Supercross. The battles were intense, and unfortunately, the injuries were intense for Justin Barcia and Malcolm Stewart, whose crash caused the red flag restart in the 450SX Main Event. From afar, Justin’s injuries looked to be more severe than Malcolm’s, and we’ve spoken to a representative from Troy Lee Ducati team and they said that Justin was asking questions and speaking to the medics when he left the track, and he is able to feel and move all of his limbs. Updated as of 9:30pm Saturday night, Justin still has more scans and tests to go, to further determine the status of his health. We will update this page when more news becomes available.

That was savage and was giving me PTSD of Adolf Silva's rampage crash just back in October...hoping for no TBI or SCI

That moto top 5 from Barcia was next level impressive, he rode well, he rode clean and for someone with not much time on that bike I was hopeful for him in the main event. Brutal.

That Silva crash was horrific, trying that double backflip right there was not a good idea. Barcia got lucky he didn’t scorpion himself on that crash, really lucky.

So glad to hear he avoided the worst case injuries.

I've been thinking about how eerily similar this was to A1 2016, exactly 10 years ago. RD accidentally punting JS headfirst into the dirt on lap 1.

So I’m assuming there’s another video that got took down?

You guys are talking about after the crash stuff and I can’t see that in any of those IG video links.

Was Barcia wearing the new A-stars inflatable chest protector?

I think he was.

Unfortunately, he took a massive hit to the head.

Media guy for sure. Dude has loads of personality. We need to keep him around once he's done racing!
