His best move would be to very exaggeratedly look over his shoulder behind him like Deegs did to Joey in WSX. He would have to really sell it, but it would start fireworks that would last all season and be about the funniest thing we could see. I'm not pro or anti Deegs.

His best move would be to pay him no mind and not feed into the Haiden Deegan nonsense. Beating Haiden with his own tactics ain’t gonna work.
How about he gives him the Macadoo swerve and takes him out
Then deegan parks him in the 200 section
. . . or Deegan feebly falls over and breaks himself, again?

Levi punched a bully in the mouth last year in SMX. He already sent a message saying, “I’m not going to let you fuck around with me” Now it’s time for him to drop the hammer and beat him straight up. That would really send a message.
Agree. I hope both Kitchen and Max have their starts dialed because they'll have to constantly start in front of Deegan if they wanna beat him imo. I have nothing against cleaning someone out for a championship at the last round, I just hope their beef doesn't result in them constantly trying to fuck each other races up.
Can you imagine if Deegan and Kitchen get together multiple times this season while Max ends up with the championship?
Maybe he'll intimidate Deegan so bad that he gets "food poisoning" and changes regions?
His best shot is doing what Beaumer did some times last season. Snatch his best time away in practice on the last lap. Win a race early, etc. He's not gonna beat Deegan at his own game. Just like nobody beats Webb on head games. If he doesn't show up 100% at A1 and either wins or shows he has the speed to win it's already over
When Vince Friese started doing his thing 10/15 years ago, if everyone had an unspoken agreement that his riding wouldn't be tolerated, it would have stopped pretty quickly.
Same for Deegan. Deegan has zero problems throwing it on in anyone, so no one should have a problem throwing it back to him...That would force Deegan to either holeshot every single race or stop pretending he is tougher than he actually is.
Levi just needs to focus on himself and trying to be out front and gapping everyone. He also needs to be able to get a 10th place start and get up to the podium on his bad nights. Finish the season, put in consistent results, and no finishes out of the top 5 should be obtainable. He left Star because of the Deegan show and here we are 3 years later and he’s still second fiddle to Deegz. Time to step it up.
Levi probably shouldn't start sh*t with the guy who actually wins championships...
I am not the largest Deegan fan by any means. In fact he goes about things the exact opposite way I would... with that said. Levi is not beating Hayden in the title. Hayden will have to beat himself. Levi is not ready mentally
All I know is Deegs acting like he already won the title would fire me up. If you aren't then you aren't a true competitor. Levi has no pressure. Nobody really thinks he can beat Deegan. Deegan will come out throwing haymakers. You're going to have to weather that for a bit and then go work.
I feel like that’s how it should be, but a lot of riders seem to just let it happen but then they throw their hands up and complain. Lots of people complain and say, “they really need to do something about this” but only a select few will take matters into their own hands and retaliate. Sometimes tells me that Haiden is going to be the same guy in the 450 class and there will only be one or two riders who won’t let him pull his bullshit with them.
"Levi has no pressure"..are you sure about that? Levi should have won the title in 2024. If he and McAdoo didn't get together that year he would be on a 450 now, let that sink in for a moment. Then another setback last year for him sadly. Deegan meanwhile has his multi year 450 deal secured already. Adding another one to his 250 resume would be great, but let's be honest, it doesn't change the outcome of his path to 450s this year.
There is just as much if not more pressure for Levi to get it done.
A lot going on between 47’s ears, he should focus on himself
Deegan is quite capable of defeating himself. Always on the edge, plus his tough attitude gives him the X factor. Unfortunately that doesn’t always work. As has been witnessed recently.
Really exciting to hear it sounds like Levi had a good off-season, he really gels with the tracks on the west coast so this should be electric. It’s funny to me to, not on here, but read many comments where poeple genuinely think Kitchen has absolutely nothing for Deegan when you could easily make an argument backed up with evidence that Levi is the better supercross rider
Pit Row
What evidence is that, exactly?
I think as long as he either gets a good start every race, or he is better coming through the pack, he has a great shot at winning the title over Haiden. He has elite speed.
Saying evidence was a bit heavy, it’s just stats but a couple quick ones;
Levi: 24 starts; 5 wins; First win on 5th start
Haiden: 29 starts; 7 wins; First win on 13th start.
Levi: Avg margin of victory is roughly 11.45 sec
Haiden: Avg margin of victory is roughly 6.4 sec
Levi has beaten Jett Lawrence in a supercross without crashes
Completely agree, he’s always been lethal with a start but in the middle of the ‘24 sx season he was unbeatable. Obv he has to capture that lightning in a bottle again but he’s beyond capable
I just think it would be funny. As much shit as Deegs got for looking back with Joey it would be hilarious if someone did that to him just to jack with him. The reality is Deegs has the potential for a perfect SX season and I'd just like a lil chaos.
I nearly spit my beer out while driving down the road when I read this on my phone.
"If Levi can get a lead on Deegs" is like asking if one of the Island Boys can beat up Sean Strickland. The odds are so infinitesimally small that the question itself is ludicrous.
How many times has Levi beat Deegan for a title? Pack that stat into your pipe and smoke it because it hasn't happened.
He needs better consistent starts up front, he is not a come from behind guy. In '24 McAdoo ran into him after a bad start and crashed him out of title contention. '25 was a weird year starting off with injuries and switching coasts. With a bad start, Deegan is more likely IMO to advance than Kitchen, who seems to run at the pace of the guy ahead of him.
bongs are better than pipes, but gladly will, I’m from Washington. Also quit drinking and driving you inconsiderate fuck
the cringe lord has been losing momentum.... he got powned in Superstupidcross by the demure Shimoda... then didn't even podium his last race in WSX... he got a lot of wins in the 250 outdoors because of lackluster competition, that' will not be the case in the 450s... and if he loses in 250sx this year.... that will not be a good look going into the 450s full time..
Who cares, whoever wins the title wins the title. Let’s hope for some good racing this season
Agree, and for no injuries.
