I didn’t get to ride, too much family/Christmas stuff going on etc and day I was planning to ride track was closed.  I did get some moto stuff done.  Installed Ride Engineering Triple Clamp and Ride Eng rear link I bought 30% off Black Friday sale for my 24 KX450.  Although I installed the bottom bearing upside down lol!  Took some work to get it out, we talked about it on Tech help/Race shop section.

Hope to hit 3 palms this Friday and see how the green bike does with my new stuff on it.

As for me we’ve been getting hammered with rain in NorCal so I had to make us a track on our riverbar. Takes some dedication that’s for sure!! Took me about 2 hours to build the road in and trim back the trees to make it to this spot and then 45 min to push in a layout. This entire track was under water on the 26th. We rode it two days later!!

I retired and moved from Huntington Beach, CA to Perry Georgia back in 2021. I always wanted my own piece of land to build a track for just me as the public tracks are starting to be a little too much for my 69 year old body and mind. So I bought 3 acres and just had it cleared last month. I have been doing a lot of manual clean up of stumps, vines and just debris left from the clearing. Also been putting up a fence by myself (425' is a long ways).

So a couple weeks ago I finally made a first layout of a track. It's really tight but that's ok for me for now. I can do what ever I want so I'm sure I will change it as I ride it more. No jumps right now. Will have to have some dirt hauled in for that at some point. It's just a good feeling to work on land that is yours. Restored an 1954 Ford NAA tractor this past summer. Bought an old brush hod and dirt scoop for it. The guy I bought it from has a box blade and disk I can use. So I have been playing around with all of that. It's been fun.

Overhead view right when I bought it. It's the triangle.

This what it looked like before I did anything to it. Really grown up.

This the tractor I restored loaded up behind my sprinter van and ready to do some damage.

I did some brush hogging initially. I realized that after doing this it left thousands of small sampling spikes sticking out of the ground. So no good for riding dirt bikes. I finally had to hire a professional to come in and clear it out.

This is what it looks like after I had it cleared by a professional with a skid steer with a Mulcher on the front..

Put up this fence last week.

Keep them pictures coming..

Thank you. Yes I am. It's been hard on my old body but I have enjoyed doing things I haven't done before (working the land).

I don't know if these links will work. I tried but can't seem to load them as a video. Not sure if anybody can hi the link and play them off my facebook page.

First link is Talking about my the first day I actually rode my big bikes on my first edition of the track.

We had some pretty epic conditions up in NorCal so I did some hillclimbing and freeriding, it’s prettty rare for conditions to be good enough for this hill to be possible on a stock length bike.  See if you can find Waldo 😂

Also made a fun little hip jump at the top of a much smaller sand hill.  Not a big jump but extremely technical to get to cleanly because the run up was so rutted out.
