250f Honda or Suzuki

Looking for a little input from anyone who has maybe ridden both of these..

I have a choice between a 07 Honda or a 08 Suzuki for basically the same price.

I know most people will say honda just because but curious.

Out of the two I would say Honda just becuase my friends RMZ is complete junk. I would say Yamaha for reliability though.

honestly i would go honda. 4 of my close friends that race on a consistent basis bought brand new 2008 rmz's. these are guys that have been around 4 strokes since theyve came out and have a PRETTY GOOD IDEA of what the hell theyre doing. needless to say theyve all blown up; some twice since they bought them. self explanatory in my opinion.

Yep Jay ive been threw a few bikes the last few years, 4 stroke and 2 stroke. Honestly i havent been real comfortable on any of them after the first 250f.

keep an eye on the right intake valve on the honda. It's the first one to go tight, way before the others. I hadn't checked my valves since I bought my bike, (i know, I know) so I rode march through july, took a few months off, and rode every other week from november to february, when it wouldn't start. Absolutely no clearance on the right intake. But other than that, it's been a wonderful bike. Just get a shim kit and you're golden.
