Wonder if they recorded this before the Jett news?
I feel like they were going to call it the SX preview show then Jett got hurt and they said "we can still keep the content if we call it an SMX preview show!" Meanwhile they spent the first 15 minutes on a rider who won't even race until Summer. Stupid.
I’m fairly certain the show was done and ready to go before Jett was out, as obviously they added in his injury part after. Chances are they couldn’t have cut his whole part and added someone else in. I’m admittedly a critical sob on the broadcast and production team but that one wasn’t on them, just timing.

They really should have extended efforts to start the show with Jett's injury; it is the biggest news in the sport. Just sloppy.
The YouTube comment section is brutal. Nearly every comment is bashing Leigh.
Holy shit 😄
It's comical that hunter lawrence thinks that him and his brother are the most available riders to fans. Yeah, you only need to pay two thousand dollars or whatever. But sure. I have always cherished the interactions I have had with people like Aaron Plessinger and Dean Wilson, but I have never seen either one of the lawrence brothers at the races.
How did they air this without modifying or at least adding space at the beginning with an update on Jett?? Ridiculous.
7:00 minute mark.
Fair enough, but they talked about Jett as if he was competing leading up to that. They played the Stewart interview highlights, the rivalry between him and Deegan for the summer etc before mentioning the injury.
Could the editing have been better, absolutely, but it was there. It's not like they completely ignored it.
I can agree, but the NFL etc (who we claim we want to grow into) would never talk about the season when the MVP was just injured a week before the show airs.....after talking about him like he was playing for the first 5 minutes.
Leigh didn't bug me that much until he kept saying "my goodness" all the time. What is this, old ladies at a tea party?
What I didn't understand is why right before they said they were going to talk about Cooper Webb they go to a 30 second piece on Jo Shimoda? He's a 250 guy. It just didn't fit.
I agree, this show was so much better a few years ago.
I shut it off about 1 min in when Diffey showed up.
