No, the house from season one is in Orlando, and yes he built a house on the compound as well. The house in SoCal is just another cookie cutter tract house near the kawi track.

I will give it an episode or two before passing judgement.

Not to beat this to death or anything...but this week is the debut of Bubba's World Season 2. Trailer and Details From the Big O: http://bit.ly/hCX17v...

This season is supposed to feature MORE RACING and more insight into the sport and Bubba's struggle with not being number 1, whereas the last one was more about the other stuff.

What are your thoughts on all this? (Oh, and you know you're gonna watch it. Even if you don't follow Bubba, you gotta be curious!)

Let's just say, we work in the same area. Smile We'll leave it at that.

Its actually pretty sad the super star of our sport has made a TV show that 90% of the fans (and industry folk) think is junk. Don't understand how it went so wrong and cheesy. A TV series on James Stewart should be FUCKING AWESOME. Not wack piles of painful eye cheese. A badass rider has turned into a bit of a laughing stock.

Racer111, good attitude. Let's all look at how season 2 unfolds before we make any conclusions on it.

Fair enough, haha. I for one, think it'll be interesting to hear his perspective/frustration about not being number 1 anymore. Should be revealing if anything. And...

And Fair enough Terry lol. Reality stuff definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea - but this season should have more insight into the sport.
It's not that I dont like reality tv (but I don't really lol) but I just don't like the way his show seems so "manufactured" and phony. Top that off with the way he lets down his fans by saying he's doing this, and doing that but never following through, well that just makes me not care what he does off season.

I'll wait to see what he says on the track with his right wrist. Thats where he needs to put his money, not silly TV shows.

Well i've just read through 2 pages of this shit thread and the general consensus is that "reality tv" shows (which seem to as scripted as dramas ...!?!!??) suck and in particular Bubba's world sucks even more because we (moto people) are being dragged down to that pathetic, self serving, look at me level.

Moto guys are generally at the hardcore level - feed them this pansy shit and they're going to spew.

Bubba's season is pretty lame, but at least there's something motorcycle-related on other than X-fighters.

Well, the debut day is finally here. Some great discussion so far! Kind of a mixed bag of comments if you ask me Smile

Let's check out a couple of episodes and see how much (or how little) the new season changed. I think we all can agree that more action in the dirt was needed in the first season.

Tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern/Pacific. Check it...THEN wreck it if it's warranted.

Again, great discussion all!

I watched Motocrossed, Supercross: The Movie, and I will watch Bubba's World too.

I like to punish myself.

I watched half of last years opening show and turned it off. Last nights opener was 10x better, but I could do with out all the BS about Big James and the grass. More moto, will win me over!!

it's a reality TV show about a top SX rider, I think those guys (the network) need their dose of drama. I think last night's show was entertaining.

I know who you are! You're the chick who sits at the front desk that plays giggle-giggle-winky-winky with James in the first season!
