Helmet paint thread..

I got a job in a dry cleaners as a teenager so that I could save up for a Pro Art Works custom helmet. I ended up having them paint a twist on a Robbie Reynard design on a Shoei. 

More than 25 years later, it’s still got a place on my office wall!

Langstons M2R helmets were always cool

I thought those Volcom helmets Tagger did for Durham and Izzi were really cool.

MC was my idol growing up. I'd love to have one of these blue lids signed by the king himself. Still waiting to catch him at a SX to get him to sign my MC No Fear jersey.

Also, as an impressionable teen in the early 90's, my first thought was the piston/sparkplug/cross-bones.  Iconic!   Thanks TLD.   Also, the Shoei VFX Bradshaw replica was an all time fav.  

TLD painted one of their Helmets for me to match a Ducati Hypermotard I splurged on.

When I was a youngster my favorite cartoon was The Go Go Gophers Set in Gopher Gulch.

Now I'm old and have a track called Gopher Gulch so my Bud Glen Cowan of Cowan Concepts did me up a nice tribute.

IN 1980 I THOUGHT MIKE BELL'S BLACK AND YELLOW BELL MOTO3 WAS THE COOLEST MX HELMET ID EVER SEEN.
