The RJ Carlsbad holeshot, awesome. I think I remember him saying in an interview that it was eerily quiet in the first turn on that one lol.

Rusty Holland #244!! That guy's badass. I remember watching that moto in 2004 thinkin "look at this privateer!"

a few weeks later I saw him and Jimmy Nelson doing a huge step down at gorman.

Great shot! I saw Nathan Ramsey do that at High Point one year and it's always amazed me how those guys can can even think of letting go with one hand while blasting through a turn like that! I guess that's one of the reasons why they're where they are......and I'm not.
When I saw this photo I thought "cool shot"... then I realized it was one of my shots...doh.

This is going to be a very long thread (but cool) if lack of reading comprehension shifts it from best first turn photos to best photos period.

That one with Larry Ward holeshotting Daytona in 2003 is a classic too. Flashes the #1 sign, (I think it was 2003).

Hate to say it, but he looked down the line and saw nothing but 2-strokes and knew it was his. Beginning of the end.
