The euro tracks have asked this question. The us promoters can't seem to find the balls to pose the same question.
Since most of us racers spend $1,000 or more to attend a couple nats a year lets hear what you want. The espn debacle proves who pays the bills at these events. Its not the people who watch ball games, bowling or hot dog eating contests.
My only suggetstion is this. If your company banner blocks my view of the track or the racing I will never purchase your product again. Pleae get rid of the track banners. We are already 50 feet away from the track behind metal fence. Stop blocking the view for fucks sake.
Last year was the end of my 20 year 3 national attendance until I can see something other than the riders helmets.

I think it would be multiplied times ten.
I have been on sight putting up the repeaters, (banners as you call them) and they are about 2 1/2 - 3 feet tall. So I realize you must be a dwarf so I apologize for the physical challenge you little people must endure.
But if Dunlop, Bridgestone, Torco, MTA, Engine Ice (free plug) and the like, were not paying to advertise, the racing would not go on in todays world.
If you only knew what it cost to promote at that level, you would shit a Yak !
And the lawn darts (those little yellow things that run around the track) oh man !...I was part of the team planting those things...at least ten thousand...pain in the azz !

2. Some kind of real traffic control plan. When you show up two hours before a National and are informed you'll miss the first gate drop by an hour, there is something wrong. How come there are fifty Nazi parking attendants directing traffic to parking spots getting in, but it's a freakin' free for all leaving?
3. Food vendors. I'm all for capitalism, it's the American way, but I'll be damned if I want to pay five dollars for a bottle of water that costs seventeen cents. Food is the same thing, gouging is one thing, but buying lunch for a family of five shouldn't leave me with the feeling I was just the rape victim in a prison sex scene.

go back to giving away full size skoal cans, those mini ones suck, and while there at it why not carry original fine cut. Who the fuck wants to chew peach flavored skoal?
the makita tent where you can try out power tools and stuff, how cool would it be if monster had a both with the monster chics lined up so you could feel all their tits, maybe this could also be the hand job both also.

Clean toilets
Bleachers
Designated separate bike wash area outside of pit/paddock area
Large screen monitors of the action in a split screen also showing lap times
Hard bathrooms or trailer bathrooms
Groomed rock or paved pathways
Tiered or gently elevated low hill, about 3' +/- (Think small earthen dam) surrounding the track perimeter on all sides allowing better viewing for those not on the fence
Mister tents or mister machines in traffic areas to cool off spectators occasionally
Provide more shade, natural or man-made. Sail-cloth shades as seen below would work perfect and can be sold as advertising space to defer costs.
Can easily be hung between poles and run almost along the entire perimeter of the course offering shade for spectators. It would also make a colorful backdrop and give the facilities a very professional appearance

Also for "first time" fans at a track - several "you are here" track maps showing
where tunnels, restrooms , food concessions , vendors etc where placed.
Number each one so families could use them as a "meeting spot" after
a moto etc..

Bathrooms that aren't nasty.
-Right now my son and I attend either Glen Helen or Hangtown. Make it more comfortable and family friendly, and my wife and daughter will start attending. From food, to merchandise, to just the number of tickets sold, you've just doubled the $ spent at the track by this family. I can't be the only one that feels this way, and increasing the revenue this way requires no more advertising, insurance, or a host of other track costs.

More thought out spectator bridges/pathways.
Beer Gardens/Reasonably priced. With this comes the need for separate family areas.
Big screens covering areas out of sight, viewable by the bathrooms, concessions, etc.
Somewhere to sit down occasionally. I walk around most of the day checking stuff out so carrying a lawn chair is a pain. At some point it's nice to park it for a bit.
Some kind of a scoring tower showing rider's names and positions. Lap times would be kick ass too!
To know I am still in Florida.
