Matt Goerke, presently in Germany contesting the ADAC German SX Series for Sturm Racing Kawasaki and coming off dominant back-to-back wins over the two night opener in Stuttgart, Germany, Matt heads to Chemnitz, Germany for round two this weekend.

Then, rather than heading home as planned, Matt will now detour and head down under to Melbourne, Australia to test and prepare for the final round of Monster Energy SuperX Australasian Supercross Championship in Brisbane, Australia on December 4th for the Cougar Bourbon Honda Factory Team.

As someone who loves to race and not turn down an opportunity, Matt Goerke is really excited about this chance to see the beautiful country of Australia and meet their Supercross fans.

After racing the final round of the Monster Energy SuperX Australasian Supercross Championship in Brisbane, Australia for the Cougar Bourbon Honda Factory Team, Matt will head home to Florida for a week of training and catching up after almost a month away from home, and then head back to Germany to race the final rounds of the ADAC German SX Series for Sturm Racing Kawasaki in Munich and Dortmund.

Some people are going to be kicking themselves for overlooking Matt.
Kid struggled with a poorly set broken leg, rode in pain, and still turns in an 11-DNF at Hangtown and then a 7-14 at Freestone the next week where riders were dropping like flies.
Then turns in a 5-7 the next week at High Point, while still in pain
He then has a couple bad races because of the injury and decides to take some time off and gets his leg re-set...think about that...re-set....he had to start over

Then he trains his ass off and comes back in his first race back and scores a PODIUM, a 6-3 for 3rd Overall at Southwick (let's not forget, he WON the overall there the year before.

A rider with lites class podiums, an overall 450 class win, a 450 class podium and numerous top 5's and 10's in 450 and 250, and he's virtually being forgotten.

I read Sturm manager saying they had an American doing several wild card GPs for the team next year. Was that Matt by any chance?

Has the Motoconcepts team ever paid Matt his back Salary and bonus money for his finishes?

The problem in the US is supercross is more important than Motocross, if he had those results in supercross.

Get him into the GPs ... he is a top outdoor rider and he should be racing the top outdoor series.

You weren't serious with that 2 seconds comment right? Come on bud.. that's not fair. He was .5 better in the first and .2 better in timed practice.. having said that, he is riding well obviously
