In 1995-96 I worked with UN people who had been "based" there during the war. Let's just say, it was not a tourist-friendly place. NO place the fucking UN gets involved in, is. 

Not to mention, your average sandal-wearing, leaf-eating Euro poof doesn't know which end of a rifle the bullet comes out of.

Given how bad the US and NATO fucked up this part of the world with zero shame just to try to kick Russia while they were down during and following the collapse of the USSR, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if someone tried to skim a little off the top by selling the opportunity to any of the disgusting people who would take it.  Nothing but atrocities and further destabilization with thousands dying in a war that could have easily been avoided.  

I will say though it's incredibly disingenuous for Yahoo to state as fact that the people supposedly doing this were "gun enthusiasts and far right extremists".  Get the fuck out of here trying to interject modern day BS talking points into a historical investigation, just report the facts and move on without undermining the rest of the article with that BS.

It’s not a Yahoo article. It’s from The Telegraph. Yahoo links like this are almost always to their aggregation stuff. 

Maybe Candace will take a look at it so that any morsel of truth will be drowned in overstated investigative spit balling.
