Couple of things Dan: First, TMV is right, the tunnels add at least 8 seconds if not more. He’s also right that they’re insane - in a good way depending on each particular rider lol some like it, some don’t. Either way one thing is for sure; they are haulin ass down those things, a very unique aspect of Bercy!!

Secondly, I agree, great win for Barcia, but technically last week was his four fiddy debut.............just to clarifyWink

Oh yeah. I forgot about Genova. Heck , Barcia has probably , for good reason, forgotten Genova as well.

Oh and secondly I'd like to take this time to TY for making sure you corrected me. I often wonder where I'd be in life if I didn't have someone as helpful as Paul Lindsey in my life to correct me when I make a simple mistake or if a fact slips my mind. Tongue

I dont know about smoked..he got a quick gap and pretty much it was maintained..I was watching and he didn't pull all that much on MM. I wonder and maybe we will see if the roles reverse can he close it on the flip side?

Wow, that flagger got smoked! Hope he is ok. From what I saw, Barcia pulled Musquin throughout the main. The last couple laps he had a huge gap. That is about what I expected though. I would have been surprised if Musquin or Cairoli could hang with some of our guys in SX. I'm sure they will get better with more SX track time. I'm betting that Barcia could have turned even faster laps with his 250f though.

If you base it on that statement then MC never smoked anybody. Pulling a quick gap and then coasting is what the king was known for.

I think if you get away clean at the start on that track you're laughing, no matter who you are. If you're 3rd/4th or more into the first turn you lose too much time trying to over take and by that time the leader is gone..

Exactly... If you don't have the good pace for the whoops section just after the first turn cause you're banging bars with the other riders then the guy up front is gone...
