The Canyons is running a contest called "How do you mountain?" The winner gets to stay at the Waldorf Astoria for 4 months and gets paid $40K to "work." They also get some gear, heli-skiing, avalanche training, etc.

Yes, that's exactly it. Believe me, everyone is confused with this "How do you mountain" concept. But hey, you don't need to understand it to vote for it, such is the backbone of true democracy.

Listen chief, I don't have to validate myself or my ability to do that job with you. You guys have seen what I can do in terms of writing a blog, if you support me then I would appreciate your vote, but if you don't think that I can do it, then don't vote for me. I was just asking for the help of my fellow MX racers. If you want to mountain too, then no one is stopping you. I will vote for you, if you want to make a video, too.

Sorry. Ping turned me onto your blog at the RacerX site and I checked it out and liked it. Thought you were quite clever in some of your thoughts/writings. Apparently you saw no humor in my OWN personal attempt at it. Either you need to learn to distinguish when someone is trying to joke with you or just get a thicker skin. Pay attention when someone actually denotes their comments with "just kidding". That is advice, not criticism. I still like you and will check out your blog when I need some laughs. Sorry Face, I honestly had no idea you were trying to be funny. In all seriousness though, I think that was more your fault than mine. And I'm not even trying to be a dick. But when you are just kidding, proper etiquette dictates that you say "just kidding" AFTER the part where you are just kidding. By putting it straight in the middle of two kidding points, well that just creates a mindfuck that I cannot handle, clearly. Keep trying there, tiger, you'll get it eventually.

And I am sorry for causing so much confusion for everyone, I advise you all stop watching that video before someone gets a goddamn aneurysm or something.
