Man Reed really is using what he wants to use. Wonder how this deal would work out considering Bridgestone doesn't sponsor anyone anymore in MX

Yeah Ricky did run bridgestones and when switched to honda i was told he didnt like the Dunlops all that well.A good friend of mine who was an inside rep at Fox and a close friend of Scott Taylor's who took care of most of RC business at that time said at one SX round the track conditions were not that favorable and RC demanded a Bridgestone be put on his CR250 if he had to buy it himself.Needless to say he got what he wanted with a little help from a dremel tool/grinder to the sidewall.

Reed and others used Bridgestones for years. They pulled their MX/SX support in 2010.

Every man and his dog (and MX team) except Team Honda ran Bridgestones up until this year when, as toro pointed out, they pulled out of all MX/SX support and also stopped producing factory tyres.

A couple of years ago when Reed was in Oz testing his new RMZ at the time he compared his US spec factory bike back to back with one of his Australian team-mates' bikes. The Australian team ran off the shelf Bridgestones. Reed did two laps and handed the bike back saying, "how do you ride with those tyres"...
In other words the factory tyres he was running were THAT much better than off the shelf Bridgestones.

Needless to say I think Chad will choose factory Dunlops over stock Bridgestones.

now thats f#%*ing funny. he was riding at the honda test track on monday.. he was coming through the whoops behind wil hahn lost control, went in to the right hand berm to hot and they both went over the berm.hahn went down and chad rode over the berm. wil pushed his bike back to the truck. reed did come over and said he was sorry and didn't mean to take him out.. it was kind of funny..
