Agreed but the same can be said for many other family’s that have dedicated their lives to this sport. Family’s like the Peters, Moorewoods, Hendrickson’s, Surber’s and many others. The list could go on forever.

Blow it out your ass! You are referring to my brave reporting on how the contract situation really unfolded, which was factual, not DC spin.
The proof is in their behavior. For months, DC & crew panicked and acted like they were on the chopping block, because they were. The AMA was going with an alternative on purpose and they knew it, and I knew it. Proof #2, and this one is so obvious, I'm surprised people missed it. The AMA would have just handed them the contract last year and saved the headache - if they wanted to, and they didn't. That's really all the proof you need to verify that all I wrote about it is factual.
Knowing and reporting unpopular facts is not taking a side. It's called doing it right.
Besides, even if I DID jump on board and write editorials called "Shut them down and hire the Euros," it would be no different than a newspaper's editorial staff taking it's position on who the paper endorses for president, governor, or mayor.
Newspapers state their opinions on those things every day. If they endorse the losing candidate, life goes on. The paper doesn't pack up and move.

I don't like much of the issues in this problem, but no one can argue that their organization does pretty well and if they kick someone to the curb they don't like well it sucks but it's life.
I am more a spectator when it comes to this pro stuff but on the amatuer side of things it has hit close to home a number of times when they have made decisions or got thier people in the right places that affect me. thats when we get pissed out here in the field.
I am guessing you are talking about Loretta's - Danya and I were told we were welcome to come and shoot! but we decided not to. She was working fulltime here in Vegas at that point and I was burned out on the industry and needed the break. plus we were trying to establish ourselves here in town.
It was our decision to stay home.
besides, in 2006 I shot every single holeshot (99 motos) and every single rider on that track in 90 degree and 100% humidity. Its a grueling event that I did vending for only 2 years. If I ever chose to Vend LL's again I would want help.
Also..when we got to Vegas our HOA wouldnt let us park our trailer here and it wasnt cost effective to pay 140 bucks a month to keep it in storage so we could vend at 1 race (remember - we didnt go to a single outdoor national in 2007) it wasnt from being blackballed, it was from deciding we were tired of living in a car and hotels for 3 years with 4 children.
That shit got old - had nothing to do with not being allowed. I always thought if I did this or did that I could be blackballed, but in 8 years of shooting moto and running my mouth pretty hard at times, I have never been cast away! hell, even strobegate didnt end my career!
