Ok back on subject. We drove from San Clemente to San Diego and back today. The only No Kings thing I saw today was some banners and signs on the overpasses. No protestors waving signs, no big crowds or groups of people, just a couple fuck Trump signs with no one around. Weak. (Not that I give a shit)😎
That would be fine, would just be to think that Trump is the lesser of two evils. If someone were able to recognize that Trump is nowhere near a good person and that everything said about his character is more likely true than not, but thought he would end up being better for the country economically, that's a fair position. But the fervency for him, the way people absolutely love him, man.....the character of this country is in serious trouble.

Cars in front of me on the 101 slowing and honking in support some with fist raised. car in front of me decided to stop in lane and honk and raise fist out his window.
I honked for him to move then realized my honking could be perceived as support.
The guy moved up a bit then started honking and pointing at CHP and flipping them off and yelling t them, now they are looking at both of us as if we are together in this! 😂

We just got back from a week in Gettysburg, touring the battlefields and imagining the sacrifices made by those to restore the union makes this current bullshit all the more poignant. That the reason so many encourage our divisions in this great nation is based solely on the creation of power and the generating of money for a select few rather than improving the lives of Americans will land plenty of these hate mongers straight to hell. We are stronger in our nation united, not divided, and the snake oil salesman who focus on our differences are in it for themselves, not for Americans. I find it ironic that the party who misled the nation for years about the cognitive abilities, or lack thereof, of a President for years, and the same party who also completely bypassed the nations primary selection process - the citizen's selection process - for their candidate after this President's lack of faculties became all too apparent is bitching about royalty in office. That the Democrats bypassed the primary process in '68 is telling as well. Not that the Republicans aren't full of shit too. As I have stated repeatedly, the Democrats have been fighting poverty and the Republicans have been fighting big government for decades, all they both have accomplished is infringing on our liberties.
