Look up and call www.bestwaysolutions.com . You'll have to crate it but their prices are great. Just shipped a big crate (4'x4'x7' @585 lbs.) about 800 miles with liftgate service on each end for $359.00. That was also door to door service. They subcontracted through Saia Motor Freight who quoted me $1022.00 going direct through them. Pretty staggering the difference from one company to the next. Shipped many bikes through them over the years, no disappointments yet.

I would talk to your local dealer. They will have better rates with the shipping company because of the volume they do. Shipping anywhere in the US should be under $250 if you bring crate to terminal and have it picked up at a terminal. I shipped a trials bike from NC to Boise ID last spring for $110 (my wife works at WPS). I tried getting prices on my own and they were all over $500.

Last I looked into it you got better rates just giving them the crate dimensions and weight versus asking them for rates to ship a motorcycle.

Talk to a dealer or someone that sends alot of freight. I just got a quote to send a 275lbs. Supermoto to FL from Boise for $122. Forward Air will do it for under $250 but you need an account with them. None of these companies will give a competitive rate to a one time customer. Talk to your local dealer, they need crate size and weight.

try-

www.myyellow.com

but you need to specify EXACT EXPRESS services..
as it is less expensive than thier regular ground rates (and gets there faster )
(glitch in thier crated frieght system)

The bike will need to be crated appropriately.

as far as pricing, it used to range 250 to 350..

now with fuel where its at,, it ranges 400 to 460..

most of the rates a see quoted here (thru various shippers)
where back when 2 strokes were still around..Wink

no matter who you use, if you are shipping across the country expect that 360 to 500 range..at a minimum.

the days of $100 shipping have been over for quite awhile ...
(unless some special circumstance ,
and if you are asking pricing here you are not likely in that. ..)
