How long does Max continue in F1?  Not sure he’s motivated by the records book.  The paychecks, however, are quite nice.

I swear they move these guys up way to fast the last 5-10 years. Especially red bull. Red Bulls fucked more young drivers over than I can count.

Next year should be interesting. It always seems though that after big regulation changes, one team hits the mark while the others struggle. I think who that one team is will be the interesting part because sadly, finding parity seems to be difficult.

Lindblad is a proper talent but this does feel quick. The fact there's a seat at VCarb suggests either Yuki is out at RB and someone is going up or RB has decided to boot Lawson. That RB programme for young drivers is good, but once they get to F1 they definitely are brutal.

I saw that Yuki might be going to Aston Martin as a reserve driver and that Hadjar might take his spot at Red Bull.

That's definitely going around and makes sense given Yuki's relationship with Honda. Lawson was in some hot water but I think he bought himself more time with his performance in Baku. There's also likely to be a spare seat opening at Alpine.

It'll be interesting with Hadjar now to see how differently Mekies will treat the second driver at RB vs how Horner saw it. Part of me thinks they will give him a proper shot but at the same time, the guy who's been pushing the hire/fire has always been Marko and part of moving Horner out was to keep him in place. Lots to watch through '26 on and off track.

Is that the first time Hamilton has outqualified Leclerc?

No. He's out qualified him 5 or 6 times including once for a sprint race.

On a hard to pass track George has a fighting chance... don't think he'll win without gaping Max. Definitely don't see that happening.

Such an early freakin race here ... 😴

That track is almost unrecognizable in the daytime. Bizarre.

Hamilton was given a post racing time penalty of 5 seconds which drops him from 7th to 8th.

"It comes after Hamilton was found guilty of “leaving the track without justifiable reason multiple times” while managing a brake issue on his car in the closing stages of Sunday night’s race."
