Did anyone find the audio of that live show painful?
Before I go any further, I need to say I’m a big fan of Steve & the pulp show- I listen every time.
But that show was a hard listen- the audio was terrible and the guys were quite excitable at times- the volum control on my device was going up,down,up, down..
It’s tougher to get everything dialed in with live shows. A lot of the time it’s not your gear, the acoustics in the space are way different, there’s more outside noise, and you sometimes have different people than you normally do handling mixing.
I do understand that. But it doesn’t change it that it didn’t sound good.
