Recent events give acts like this “legitimacy” for some. Political affiliation is a very distant secondary consideration.

People tormented on their insides tend to express it on their outsides. There's just no way to get a handle on this kind of thing without going full 1984. This place works on self-regulation and somehow we have to collectively choose to do more for each other, in place where we don't really have to do anything for each other. Whatever those things may be, I just don't know, but each one is like a mini 9/11 and the net result is a worse place to live. 

The usual media suspects were all over this last night, painting him as a maga terrorist. 

Due to a faded photo of a Trump/pence sign supposedly in his yard, and an old photo of him wearing a Trump 2020 t-shirt.

Whether he was or wasn't a Trump supporter, it is looking like a targeted attack, not based on any political ideology. 

Read where he had a recent breakup with a LDS GF, and was upset about that.

Who knows if that's true or not ???

Either way, attacking a church during services is a cowardly act. 

Consequences. Swift, severe, and public. The Kirk shooter thought he was going to "die of old age" and not get caught. 

Whatever it takes to make it VERY clear that we're enforcing law and order. If that means tanks in the streets, so be it. This is the offset to extreme radical left policies allowing 14-time criminals to run free in just about every major city. 

Saw that his social media got scrubbed within short order of him being identified.  As always, follow the (!his) money and it will lead to the truth, one way or the other.

This sucks...kirk is killed (whom I share most political beliefs with)...now an LDS church is shot up and burned down because the dude hates Mormons (now members of my faith were killed because of their-our-religious beliefs)....This is all hitting a little too close to home, so I'm going to stay out of this one for a while, so I don't get myself put on time out again...

We're there this weekend, and still so much road and bridge construction.

So many empty, and water scoured areas where homes used to be.
