Grant has all the skills needed to do some serious damage in the 450 class! I think Honda has a "Diamond in the rough" with Grant to be honest! If he learns consistency ......he'll be fighting for a spot on the box every week!

You might have taken englishman's comments a little harshly, but his point is valid. Where do you think Grant will finish the sx year? 3rd? 4th? Will he finish the season? HIstory says no. The guy is podium speed no doubt, but his consistency is a huge question mark. And his lack of consistency must have something to do with his preparation. Or lack thereof.

First of all I did not call Englishman stupid or ignorant. I simply stated that it amazes me the things that people say on this board like they know what is going on.



To say that they went bargain basement shopping and that he is lazy are stupid and ignorant statements to make about any rider unless you are in the the know and have first hand knowledge of people's salaries and their work ethics.



I just happened to respond to this quote with my overall disgust of the way that people bash the riders when 80% of the people doing the bashing have never even met the riders that they bash.



These riders go out there and risk their lives and people come on here and make personal attacks on the riders and their families and it is disgusting. IMHO the personal attacks on all the riders should stop. How many of our lives could stand up to the daily scrutiny and bashing that the riders and their families have to deal with?

And by the way, you say that name calling is unsophisticated, but isn't that exactly what Englishman did in his post by calling him lazy.

you read posts all the time on here where guys say that one guy sucks or that another guy is a dick or so&so is lazy. It really is ignorant to say things like that unless they know the guy or have personal experience with whatever rider they are bashing....However, if they ever met them in person at the gym or gas station or at the local track, they would have their head so far up the riders ass, begging for a jersey or goggles or plastics or his recently chewed gum...until you hang out with a guy or get to know him, how can you say you hate him or that he is an asshole??? you might not like something he said or the bike he rides, that doesnt always make him a prick.

Even if Josh makes $100k salary, that's a lot better than a lot of other top riders this year.
