Who ever doesn't like the way Reed is handling silly season, it's simple don't click on threads labeled Reed #3????. What did you think this thread was going to be about when you clicked on it?

I for one think it is funny and clever, if CR doesn't end up racing Bubba should higher him on as his PR manager.

at this point, here is my "IMO"

Reed should call Pourcel.
Reed should then call Monster or Red Bull.
Then PC, then Honda.
Get Red Bull/Monster to get the rig and cover the expenses for everything but rider salary and bonuses, and let them buy the title insurance.
Honda to provide bikes, works parts, PC to be the main builder for all.

Let each do their own gear/boot/goggle/oil lube ect deal.

Worst case, they have no equipment disadvantages and all overhead except for personal trainers, practice track maintenence, practice mechanic, is covered.

With those 2 teamed up, you have literally 2/7ths the "star power" in MX. Get an outside sponsor or 3, it really shouldnt be hard. Hire a knowledgable Manager. Now you wont be in the hole and you can make your salary and pay the other costs.

You can do alot in 60 days. The bike part, you could be up and running in a week.

Then call Mike Holligan. Get a reality TV deal.

Read Steve Mattes article (Decision Part 2) on the Pulp MX website and I think you will find your answer. It looks to me like Reed is leaning toward his own team. Who knows, I just hope he races Supercross and Motocross next year. It would be a shame if he's not out there. Regardless if you like him or not he is good for our sport.

Sounds like a great plan... even the reality TV, I'm sure Reed and Pourcel would actually be entertaining, hell the show might even be about Moto.

Monster/PC/Honda could be nice... More work for Reedy, but probably more mone on his own than hat TLD could offer..
