I've been waiting for an update too...he's had such a great season.  I saw Cooksey had a video with an update, so I clicked it since I can't find any other info on his status.  According to the video, he's just banged up pretty bad and has a swollen knee.  Hopefully the swollen knee is just from an impact and not any ligament damage.

Agree, he’s such a gritty honest kid, hard not to be a fan.

Really hoping it’s banged up and doesn’t compromise his build into 26 SX

They picked him up and carried him to the mule like it was his knee or lower leg.

He was on crutches after the race. I think that’s all anyone knows right now.

Maybe not an addition to this thread, but his Gypsy podcast interview was really good. Sucked to see him go down like that. He is a tough dude, hopefully it's mostly bruises and we see him next week.

Yes! I just listened to that a couple days ago. Wild story. You see these guys kitted up and under the factory tent on the race weekend and you think they have it all, meanwhile he has $250 in his bank account and is living at a KOA in a camper. He's always been under the radar for me but that interview made me a huge fan. I know he wants a 250 title but I really wish he'd just go to the 450s and start rocking it.

Yeah that was quite wild! And a good thing from Phil to have him setup with a Finance guy that early in his career. He basically said that the podium and win bonusses are retirement extra's. I did expect a guy like him to be a bit more financially set as well. I really think he would benefit from going to 450s though.

A KOA isn’t cheap 🤣🤣 but I do believe he had issues with parents & money when he was 18-20ish. Not sure the exact story but if you listen in Gypsy, Gypsy says something about it in regards to other riders & it seems they cut it out or just moved on.

Saw a facebook post that reported that Steve from Pulp has stated Garrett is in for Round 2.
