I’m only American since 4-5 years but I always rooted for team USA to do good because I mainly back up our series and believe they’re the best series with the highest level on earth. It’s why, no matter who’s doing it, I want them to do good because I’m 100% behind USA racing. As far as Haiden goes, I love when he’s on the bike because you know what you gonna get, he wants to win! What bothers me is his s*** talking when he wins. He doesn’t have to do that. But, I do like what he says on the podium whenever he doesn’t win. He’s been great at being professional and congratulating the winner lately but man, when he wins, he’s so cringy. And for our industry, for the sport in general in the US, we really need an USA W at Ironman no matter who’s in the team! 

I'm not a Deegan fan by any means but in a race that's all about pride for your country, and I know Deegs and Tomac are proud to be American, getting your little pusspuss hurt and rooting for our biggest competition sure as hell isn't "as patriotic as they come".

I've been a Haiden fan since he was little. And he's backed up all the hype since he's gotten to the pros. Never cared for his dad and "The Metal Mulisha" crap. I always chalked up Haiden's awkwardness to just being young and his upbringing. I will say though that this past year or so he has taken the awkwardness/douchyness, or whatever you wanna call it, to a whole new level. Those instagram posts where he's talking to the camera sounding like a teenage girl are super cringy. I wish he'd figure out how to handle himself a little better. He'd have twice as many fans if he'd just be more likable in front of people. 

But either way I'm still a fan. The kid attacks a MX track like hardly anyone else. Oh...... AND GO USA!!!
