As there is no Special Edition of TGO ''American Summer' and I can't find the DVD series anymore on the nofeamx website I was wondering if Troy and his crew stopped the TGO project?

Pretty sure it's still on... Andrew Short Tweet from last month.

"Hanging out with The Great Outdoors crew today at the farm in smithville."

I like TGO, but I really really like when they do Moto: Inside the Outdoors on TV.

GuyB, any insight on whether Inside the Outdoors is coming back?

Thanks for the replies everyone. It sure would have been a loss if they stopped making those amazing DVDs.

Really liked their MXoN efforts too from Budds Creek and Donington Park.

Maybe they just stopped making the Special Editions and MXoN DVDs.

I dont know about you guys, but i would gladly wait for like a Christmas release of future TGO's so that they could include MXDN footage.

Pretty sure this years Special Edition was Inside the Outdoors series, which is a great trade-off.

In the last two TGOs, it's seemed to me that they're struggling to find a new way to present the series. Creativity doesn't happen like clockwork - maybe they need to take a new approach and rather than do a movie every year, just shoot a bunch of footage and put it together when they have a story to tell that's not necessarily the story of a particular season.

With the MXoN being in the US again this year, I was really hoping they'd do another 60 Years And A Day or Battle At Britain type movie. No dice I guess.

TV is better than DVD IMO.
Internet (iTunes and such) is also good as well.
