They have only been "relevant" to people that consume cable TV 24 hours a day. No one with a real life going on plants themselves in front of a tv and watches this trash.

The "people" paying them 1.5 billion are companies with budgets that decide what you watch. They are not listening to you and then going to seek out content you desire. Its the best they can do. 🤣

So we've been doing it wrong all this time ??

So turning on the television and watching an episode or two of, Southpark, the Simpsons, Family guy, or King of the Hill isn't the proper way, we're supposed to couch potato, stir up some meth, and watch until our eyes bleed ???

I mean, I don’t watch TV whatsoever and I like to think I’m fully living but I know some people that watch South Park on occasion who have more of a life than I do. Also by that definition almost any TV show is something somebody “decides that we watch”

Saying they aren't relevant after getting the deal they have is an unreal stupid thing to say. 

I don't watch much TV, i mainly listen to podcasts and audio books but I and my friends go out of our way to watch new south parks within a few days of airing and it has been that way for long as I can remember. 

My group of friends include, Lineman, Software engineers, Helicopter mechanic, Dirt contractors/owners, Nurses and Dental. 

I would say we are about as normal Americans as you can get with lives.

Snuck my cousin to south park movie when he was maybe 12. Was pretty nervous for a few weeks after that if he repeated some of the things he learned that my aunt would kill me. 

Trump and his disciples getting defensive about recent episodes and complaining that they didn't go after Biden is about as out of touch as you can get.

A buddy and I went to a matinee, might have been opening day. Very few people there.

Just before it started a young woman sits a few seats down from us with her 2 elementary aged boys in tow. Little did I know how quickly that was to become very uncomfortable. We were suppressing belly laughs at the raunchyness that clearly the kids weren't understanding. 

I don't recall how long she lasted, 10 minutes maybe, but it felt like an eternity. 

She should have known better since it was rated R, but damn I felt sorry for her because she didn't look like the type to find any of that funny.
