We never lock anything up. Its the side benefit of everyone having guns. Thugs and a-holes are less likely to enter land or a home where they know the odds of a loaded gun being pointed at them is pretty great.

Not in my neighborhood in Jersey. I go out to the garage, I lock the front door to my house. To many sketchy people walking by all the time.
What part of Jersey?

it's safe enough not to lock your home or take the keys outa your pickup? I do. Farming communities have advantages.
You never know when some weirdo will come wandering on your property...

You've obviously never been to Christmas Valley, Oregon. There are only a couple of people in the entire town so you really don't have to worry about strangers wandering on your property.

I live in MilkToast land. We can leave things unlocked but but you are playing roulette. Get the idiots that come in from Santa Ana and CM westside looking for freebies. Safe to walk at night though. Not many places in SoCal that is like that anymore.

I realize you work from home but I imagine most burglaries occur when the homeowner is not present. Here in AZ folks love their guns but I hear about burglaries all the time.

I live too close to Lenny's hood to leave the doors unlockedTongue Great neighborhood but I wouldn't ant to have all my shit taken of harm done to my family because I didn't do something as simple as lock a door.

I always lock my door since the patriot act gave the cops a free pass to enter any unlocked house without a warrant .

I don't even bother closing the doors when I'm not home.
