My regions are absolutely stacked with pro riders also.  Every single year the same guys I've seen riding pro for the last 30 years.  Am I fast enough probably not anymore but it's the same conversation with all the local vet guys every year.  Why even try because it's literally us just trying to qualify and spending a crap ton of money when it's racing guys that are pros and have been since they were kids.  We have no realistic chance at all because there isn't even a class that gives us any chance.  That's all I'm saying.  To me it's the same whether it's Shorty or the local pro that's been doing it forever.  They are all A riders and the gate is filled with them there is no class for the regular guys.  If that's what they want then fine but don't try and sell this BS that there are classes for everyone.  There is a big hole in the structure here.

You would be racing them at 15 or 50. Not to mention, you’re slightly exaggerating when you say the whole class made a living racing, that just isn’t true. You’re using the fact there’s a few known pros in there to not train and try to make it.  If your goal is winning well that’s a tall mountain to climb and that’s for any class at LL. 

Everyone accuses mxsports as greedy but why wouldn’t they just add a 40 B class if that was the case. There has to be more to it than that.

My whole point is that every single vet class is actually a pro class because they are all open to pros of some level.  I don't get why everyone wants to try and say that's not the case because it absolutely is.  It would just be nice if regular dudes had a chance to even go and have the experience.  As it has been for a long time that chance ends in about December every year when the class list is released.

That’s what drives me nuts about this shit. It’s not like the gate is stacked with guys who have scored national points. It’s a handful of guys sprinkled in a handful of classes. I know a guy that runs a machine for his company 50-60 hours a week, raises 3 kids, and tries to ride once a week and was punching his ticket every year for 10 years on the same regiment. When I was in high school and trying to qualify for school boy, I didn’t bitch that I was getting smoked by the training camp kids and saying they should make a class for people still chasing a high school diploma. It’s considered the best 40 riders in a class for a reason.

I want to line up against guys like me with real jobs not professionals who made a living at this.  The issue is not that these guys want to race that's cool but they need a separate class.  These guys take up gate spots for guys that this race was really intended for.  I know tons of vet guys that used to try every single year that don't even bother anymore with how the rules are same as me.  I'd just like a fair shake at getting to go once.  When I see who qualifies out of the regions every year though it is quite clear there is no point because it's all ex pros.  I know a lot of people think it's cool downvote me but I don't care.  The fact is every single vet class is open to A class riders whether it be the big show or at a local level.  They are all technically pro classes.  There is no class for B/C vet riders.

Not sure if that makes it better or worse,  racing hasnt been as good as previous years so far, IMO,  but as the second Moto's start, guys will have to be going for it, instead of taking the 'result' in Moto 1.
