JD doesn't strike me as dumb enough to try this, or smart enough to pull it off. High risk/high reward with a minimal probability of success. Plus, I have a very hard time imagining Maxwell implicating Trump. He's the one guy that can get her out of jail. It would be politically damaging to pardon her, but if he's exiting politics at the end of his term, he might not care. Vance, being young, has a future political career to worry about so pardoning a despised, convicted child sex trafficker likely wouldn't be on his radar. 

There are all sorts of wacky scenarios that are possible but what actually happens will probably be rather mundane. Regardless of what the truth is, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Maxwell simply says she recruited girls to give Epstein "massages" and that that's all that happened.

I really don't see any likely scenario where Maxwell causes the end of Trump's presidency. The only way to get him out is with impeachment (which could happen) and conviction, which won't happen - not based on the particulars of this situation but because there is literally nothing Trump could do to get enough Republicans to vote for conviction to get up to the 2/3 supermajority needed. It's not like Trump is going to admit guilt and resign under any circumstances.
