I know you're expecting to hear about a stolen bike with that title. It's not quite that bad but I needed to vent to moto heads that will understand.
In this area it's all private pay parking lots. I woke up this morning and went to my car to find my drivers side window busted out and a fricken 15 lb bowling ball in my front seat. First thing I noticed were my Oakley sunglasses were gone and the ignition was all tore up. These jackasses thought they could actually pop the ignition on a 2010 car.
After calming down a little I realized all my MXdN memorabilia was in the trunk. I open it to find it's all gone. I had 2 Dungey #1 jerseys ($400) both signed by Dungey one of which was going to be a gift to a Belgian friend of mine. It was for Rudi my Belgian friend from this board. I also had 4 MXdN shirts all with numerous signatures and a Canard #2 plate signed by Canard. I also had a Team Belgium hat signed by Desalle , Ramon and Vanhorbeek. And a few posters signed by various riders.
What pisses me off more than anything is these fcking tweeker/drug addict scumbags have no idea what they stole and could literally care less about the stuff. Most the stuff is probably in a dumpster down the road. I can just see them now all pissed off when they opened the 3 moto tee bags only to find shirts , hats and posters of guys on dirt bikes. It's been 10 hrs since this happened and I'm still so mad I'm shaking as I type this.
What a fcking buzz kill to ruin what up to that point had been the perfect 4 days. Oh well I guess it's just stuff. All be it stuff that meant the world to me. Thanks for listening to my rant guys and if you see anything that resembles this stuff on ebay please let me know.
I was told I should describe the stuff in case it shows up on ebay. There were 2 MXdN #1 Dungey Jersey's signed by RD. A team team Belgium hat signed by the whole team of Desalle, Van Horbeek and Ramon. There were 2 gray and 2 black event Des Nations shirts signed by Roczen, Nagl, Ferry, Dungey, Paulin, Atsuda, Desalle. The #2 Canard front plate wasn't a real front # plate. It was a memorabilia #2 plate they sold at the event stand and it was signed by Canard.

Cops probably meant, was there a GPS on the window or IPod on the seat. Most of the time, the shit bag criminals will skip cars that they cant see anything in and go for the one where there is at least something in view. GPS on the window or dash is like a sign saying please break into me.
Like you said I'll focus on the rest of the week and enjoy the day at Elitch Gardens amusement park tomorrow. Besides that ordeal I have to say Denver is an awesome part of the country and a great place to vacation.
I forgot to mention one of the shirts was signed by Donnie Hansen and Chuck Sun in case you guys see anything on ebay.
72 kiteboarder.. You know what? I didn't even think about it but they did steal the gps. I made the report and then Avis came and got the car and brought me a replacement. Being so pissed about the MX stuff I didn't even realize the GPS was gone.
I guess I was wrong..I just talked to Avis and the GPS was still in the car.
sorry to hear, but I learned along time ago, why leave anything of value in the car? after having both my rigs, along with every neighbor in Bull Mtn. I trust most people, but why tempt them?

When I was in B.C. for the Supercross one year the bums knocked a window out of my car for 35 cents in the cup holder.
Keep your eyes on Craigslist for the jersey's...etc, you never know you might get lucky and catch those scumbags.

You can break a car window with as little noise as a pin dropping, and with something smaller than a fingernail.
These guys were probably illegals and amateurs.
