to only be 16 years old and go that fast on a 250 us unreal... imagine how fast he will be when gets to the same age barcia is this year!!!!

BTW Barcia should be regretting running his mouth about Roczen earlier in the year because he will get smoked

Could it be that Dungey and Roczen is made from the same material, with the same work ethics?

Watched Roczen at 14 at Dortmund SX and my wife "said this guy looks like Dungey on a bike"? How good is this younger kid Herlings?

Roczen hangs out with Cairoli doesn't he? I know they're good buddies and it would explain why they are incredible sand riders,AC trains mostly on sand tracks.

Almost as fast, but better in the sand.

Put it this way, when all three were healthy at the start of the season Roczen, Musquin and Herlings were locked together all trading moto wins.

Its great that Roczen was able to put on a show for the American fans and back up the hype, but I feel so gutted for Musquin, you race all season with no mechanical failures and then you get two at the MXdN! He won the MX2 class last year in Italy, has just sealed his 2nd World title and would have been in the mix for sure.

LOL....what does Justin Barcia have to do with a race that he wasnt even at? I can't wait to hear how Roczens ride yesterday translates to Justin in some way....carry on

Really useless post!
No need to bring that up. Has nothing to do with Roczens MXoN showing!

Bitter loser? It's just the same weapon that you use. Tell me how pretty much any American claims Barcia being superior to Ken without racing him? The ONLY argument that is brought up consistently is the Loretta Lynns race some years ago.
When will people realize that time changes? From 14 to 16 there as huge development, not just bodywise, but also mentally. Way more than from 16 to 18.
Ken beat all AMA 250 riders including the champ himself, a guy I have the most respect for, who also waxed Barcia frequently.

dude you really need help. I compared the two riders from races where they both rode the same class on the same track at the same time and you want to make a conclusion based off a race where one of the riders wasnt even at? Seriously?

You guys are NUTS. How come this arguement is different when it comes to Dungey beating cairoli the last 2 years?

bitter loser? What did I lose? Team USA won the MXDN which is a TEAM RACE.

It's not me, most likely not you, but there are many people on here that talk a lot of crap that need help. I don't let national pride do the judging.

It looks to me that Ken Roczen has just now grown into that bike. The videos Ive watched of him the last couple of years, he seemed a little small. NOW, he looks real good, Im bummed we have to wait another year to watch him mop up the west coast supercross.

Roczen is FAST. So is Herlings. These GP kids kick it. I doubt when (if) they come over here they will get booed like Pourcel. Roczen, for one, speaks really good English, and has the looks of a surfer dude. Even skateboards.

Herlings is the real deal as well. Really really fast. His cardio has a little way to go (but hey, he's 15!).

For some reason Europe has a lot of fast youngsters. I've heard they have pretty decent programs for developing younger riders. Some Italian guy I work with was trying to tell me about some "programs" some European countries have vs the individual efforts of amateurs in the US. It would be awesome if DV could expand on this.

I feel sorry for Musquin he has been that fast all year too and never got to show i at the MXDN.. and Herling was injured... but shows just how fast the MX2 GPs have been this year...

Right now I think Roczen is the fastest MX2 rider in the world - he won the last two GPs all four motos and won the MXDN MX2 class 2-3 seconds quicker than his closest competition... they guy is unreal - he can ride every type of terrain and track regardless of the country and is mentally very strong ... the complete package.

anstie was one of them fast euro kids and well it didnt go as well as even i thought it would, with that said one race isnt a tell all on how well roczen will do over here but with this one showing he'll be easily top 5. and as far as SX goes in the vid they had of him he said he likes SX and will be doing some in europe so that will help him when he comes to race a few SX's here, its gonna be good racing for sure ... as far as barcias running his mouth off... i think he will back it up when it comes to roczen as he has matured as a rider and THAT will get him to start winning more consistantly....

i like roc's comment on everyone making excuses for one line tracks... if you have a good eye you'll find a line...

Come on Barcia did nothing all year except southwick! I'm calling Barcia out, he is all noise (smack talking and over revving lol), that 16 year old would smoke him in mx ( I have yet to see Roczen in SX)

Some guy are funny:

On Dungey vs Cairoli RE whos the fastest in the world
"its one race, you cant say Dungey is the fastest mx1 in the world"

On Roczen after one race and going fast
"Roczen is the fastest mx2 rider in the world"

How can roczen be the fastest MX2 rider in the world after one race, and dungey cant?
